We`ve already visited this hotel for many times and always with pleasure. We love it`s excellent location exactly at the shore. Sea and beach are just under the balcony. Seaviews from the balcony are to die for, especially sunsets (accompanied by cup of coffee or glass sangria) are extremely spectacular. Good bus connection with everything. Stuff is nice and helpful. Beds are big, mattresses are wonderful.

Like all Costa Dorada resorts, Salou has a fantastic beach and fun watersports. But it’s the wide, palm-lined promenade that really makes it stand out. Boutiques and exclusive restaurants line its western end, while in the east the bay curves to a point where a sculpture leans out to sea. Head there for lovely views of the sandy beach and distant mountains.
Further round the coast towards Cap Salou the beach becomes rocky coves, whilst inland is PortAventura, Spain’s most visited theme park. This huge complex includes rides and rollercoasters in themed zones, and a waterpark with slides, flumes and pools galore. Also here is Lumine, a golf club boasting 2 courses designed by Greg Norman.
Next door is Port Halley shopping centre which also has a 3D cinema and bowling alley. The best shopping in Salou though is in the old town, where designer shops stay open until late.
Other Salou attractions include the dancing Font Illuminosa fountains, Bosc Aventura’s high ropes, and Aquopolis - a great waterpark for younger children. Although the town has plenty of arcades, clubs and bars, peace and quiet can be found.
Reus Airport is the nearest and it’s around 20 minutes’ drive from there to the apartments, B&Bs and hotels in Salou bookable on Booking.com.

Salou is a place I visit yearly as it’s safe and has everything you would wish for on a holiday. Hire a bike and do a trip out to Cambrils , enjoy a beer or a coffee while people watching. The fountain show in the evening very enjoyable and bars restaurants you have all you need , enjoy living in the moment and tomorrow will be another day of discovery..

I only stayed 3 days and that personally just isn't enough. I had great Spanish food but was rather pricey. Every restaurant I went to had something to offer for everyone. Everywhere was clean and lots of entertainment on offer

The beaches are very well maintained with a fantastic bus service .

Lovely place. Very child and family friendly. Loads to do, the walk by the sea is gorgeous, loads of lights, trampolines, football and basketball courts to use for the public.
Loads of flea markets, recommend renting bikes and you can cycle around to them.
Found it difficult to get taxi, no taxi app seemed to work even the recommend ‘Cabify’ and you needed to ring but unfortunately as they were Spanish numbers we were unable to ring off are own phones. The hotel would be able to order a taxi for you though. And coming out of the airport was easy to get one.

Salou does not have a train station, the nearest is 1.5 miles from our accommodation and at this time of writing the station is under construction so trains are hit and miss and when I visited there was no ticket office, no help and nothing I could book on line, nearest train after this station is a Vita Seca but to be honest by the time we had managed to get a taxi to take five of us to the train station it was a faff, so we hired a car for 24 hours and this was 65 euros, taxis are expensive I think.
Salou is an easy place to navigate, busy, tended to be with younger families but this was August so still school holidays. People appeared nice and friendly, lots of little supermarkets, lots of places to buy t - shirts, bracelets, fake items etc. Swimming with Tuna was lovely in Amellta de Mer. Would not visit again as I never go back to the same place twice. My children did not want to go to Port Aventura as they did not want to queue in the heat for water park and Ferrari land does not open until 16.00, we have done so many water parks and theme parks, they are now older teenagers. 13, 15 and 17 so were not fussed.

The hotel is very close to the beach, not the central one, but I liked this one even better. There are long and pretty steep stairs though. It was ok for me, kept in form )
The centre of the city is not far.
The meals are really great.
The house keeping works very good. The room was cleaned every day, the towels were changed every day.
The view from our 6th floor was splendid.
We asked for a kettle and it was given for free.

It was super easy to get to from the Reus Airport shuttle bus. The hotel is right on the strip next to shops, bars and restaurants leading down to the beach - yet you are not disturbed by the noise below. The room was very clean and modern. The staff are very helpful! The breakfast was tasty and there was a good choice. The drinks at the bar were cheap too! We would 1000% stay here again, when coming back to Salou.
If you are looking for a family holiday this is your place. It has been recently renovated so it feels like a treat, the rooms are pristine! And it is cheaper than a 4 stars hotel. The outdoor pool has lots of slides, so it is ideal for the kids. There is a buffet restaurant, animation during the night and day, a small indoor playground for the kids, and it is located at a walking distance to the beach.
The breakfast was great, with so much variety to choose from. There were plenty of restaurants around the corner from the hotel and was easy to travel in and out by bus to Salou and Tarragona. The area is quiet and relaxing
