Facilities included kitchen, bath, living area etc and we were the only ones. Great value. Host was kind and accommodating and replied to message inquiries quickly. Some have commented he didn’t speak English well but really, he was a great host even though we didn’t speak Spanish well.

After several days on the Camino Frances with rain by day and a symphony of snores by night in the hostel, I could not take it any more! This was more expensive than a hostel but when doing the camino you should have some money to spend for special occasions. My hotel room was so warm, the shower was warm and clean, the bed was comfortable, and the location is right on the Camino. For breakfast I had toast, yogurt, juice, cheese, coffee, hot chocolate, and fruit. It was so nice to take a break from the other pilgrims and this was a great hotel.

It was spacious and full of light but there was no hot water so I couldn’t take a shower for the two days I stayed which was disappointing. I texted the owner but she never responded. 😩

Very warm welcome. Very private. Use of kitchen. The kind owner supplied coffee, fruit and pastries for breakfast. It was help yourself and included in the price. Very safe. Delicious restaurant in a brick, cave-like atmosphere right next door. Loved it! 🤗…oh and super cheap!!! Only 31 Euro for a private room and included breakfast!!
The Ukrainian lady at reception was very helpful and friendly. I was walking the Camino and was unwell so rang and asked could I check in early and she was very professional and courteous. She seems to be the only member of staff in the whole hotel who speaks any English and is very hard working. In my opinion they would be lost without her.
Hotel very clean. We had trouble connecting to Wi-Fi and only one of our party got access. Beds were basic. Very central but we didn’t realise all restaurants closed on Monday night. Lovely girl in Supermarket sent us to Cafe Europa where we got a tasty bowl of pasta and a warm welcome.
The self-service breakfast was ok if perhaps a bit basic, but overall the hostal was comfortable and very good value. We received a friendly welcome and found the hotel staff helpful.
