View of the beach from our balcony! Great value for this location. Room was fine. No air conditioning but we left the patio door open and had great sea breeze. Beach access right across the street.

It says it’s a Hostel but it is more like a hotel. Very clean and modern rooms. Good AC. Optional breakfast with good options. Friendly staff. Close to beach and restaurants.

We sent in September and you can tell a lot of businesses can shut after the holiday period , we also saw restaurant were very few or almost no one in them.
Punta Umbria itself is ok, a little rough around the edges. The beach is lovely, We found further down the coast towns like El Rompido to be nicer looking and cleaner.

Small beach town that swells tremendously on the weekends.
Small beach town that swells tremendously on the weekends. I can’t speak to what this place is like in the non-holiday season. Main entry to the town is the city of Huelva. This area of Spain is not traveled that much by tourists so you need to know more Spanish than you do in the big cities. It’s generally 23C at night and up to 34C during the day. Most of your food options are Mediterranean based. About the same € as the cities like Seville and Madrid. Beaches in the main Playa Punta Umbria area are, in my opinion, crowded and dirty. They get increasingly better the further west you go. A taxi ride or car is the only way to get to the better beaches. The Barcelo is the best hotel in the city.

Punta Umbria seems more of a Spanish citizen resort rather than international but a lovely beach and sea frontage. Just need to search for the bars / restaurants that suit your needs or you can get very basic food.

Went off season so very quiet.
Went off season so very quiet. Town and supermarkets all open. For relaxed winter sun or warm weather dualathon racing really good as hardly any cars around and road surfaces fantastic with no embarrassing potholes as in Sussex. Drive from Seville was easy, parking straight forward and free in town.
Beach is clean with hardly anyone on them.

This is mass tourism in industrial scale. They had lots of activities for children and I imagine it's great for large families (as long as they speak the language). The locations around the hotel (La Rabida, Huelva, Columbus' carabelas) were highlights in our trip.
Excellent breakfast lovely small hotel fantastic for motorcyclists as have private parking totally secure.great location staff couldn't do enough,my only gripe is the single bed is way too small a horrible let down after a long day on a bike
We've been hosted by Rocio Orta, very kind and gave us several topics to improve our journey in Punta Umbría. A very comfortable apartment, newly refurbished and located in the very heart of Punta!
