The room was a very good size. Very comfortable. the breakfast was short of the vegetarian option expected. However the breakfast on the whole was some way above standard. The view was an excellent one. The long and the short of it is that I will gladly return.

The valley settings where every thing is laid out is very inviting. The town is very lively but not excessive. The Mogan mall is a must visit , really good if you love shopping. The restaurants are of a quality that they caters for all taste and pockets. I found it very easy to get around. public transport from Puerto Rico to other towns are frequent and very cost effective. If you self catering the supermarkets are very accessible.

Puerto Rico has a lovely warm climate in November, and going for a swim in the warm bay is very enjoyable. There are plenty of good restaurants and bars to go to. Watching the sunset as you return from a nice walk to nearby Amadores Beach is a thrill.

I/we have been to Puerto Rico GC six times since 2012.
I/we have been to Puerto Rico GC six times since 2012. In my opinion this is the best place to stay in Gran Canaria, suits my nature. It is possible that the younger generation finds the place too boring, but in the last few years new modern shopping centers and eateries have been added.

Nice place but very touristy.
Nice place but very touristy. Restaurants are all very similar and not the best. Ideal for self-catering!
Villa was in a perfect location on the level in the centre very near the beach. Sandy beach with no stones and safe sea for bathing.

The hosts were super helpful and friendly from my initial booking to arrival and departure.
The apartment is central to everything within the valley of Puerto Rico.
There is a supermarket just down the 1 flight of stairs infront of the Canaima apartments.
The view from the apartment is just beautful.
Sun all day to evening on the balcony/veranda.
The bed was super comfy!
The Pool bar's cocktails are amazing!
As a solo traveller I felt 100% safe in this secure apartment.
Frequent visitor to the Gloria Palace, restaurant breakfast has greatly improved,, all staff try really hard, exceptional bar staff Daniel and Dacil make the best drinks. Looking forward to going back. The Gloria Palace makes a great base for Amadores beach and Puerto Rico, loads to do... The only problem is the hotel is so nice some days it's a struggle to actually leave.
Very nice place to stay, but there were (too!) many stairs to climb in order to reach the hotel. Still very good for exercising, and the views were amazing! Will consider staying here next time, but must admit I hope to find a(nother) nice hotel closer to the center of Puerto Rico,- and further down, of course.
The pool area is lovely. The Taj Palace restaurant within the complex is very good for all meals and drinks, and the staff are great. Location in Puerto Rico is good, with lovely views of the boats in the port (depending on which apartment you are allocated). Apartments are spacious and adequately furnished.
The cleanliness of the entire complex and apartments will not be beaten in Puerto Rico. The wardrobes are big and cool. The view down is nice. The cleaners and staff are very welcoming and friendly.
