We had an excellent stay at Secrets Lanzarote. Everything was perfect. Staff is very helpful and friendly, there are numerous activities organized by staff to keep you busy like yoga, streching, archery, rifle shooting, cocktail workshop etc.
Food at world cafe is great and pretty diverse, but it is absolutely recommended to try the a la carte restaurants for dinner. For us, the two that stood out way above the rest, were Oceana restaurant and Gohan (the sushi at Gohan is other worldly). Portofino was just ok, and in blue water grill the steak was really good, but the hamburger not so much.
Located in a quiet resort 3.1 mi west of Puerto del Carmen, Hotel Costa Calero Thalasso & Spa has 4 outdoor swimming pools and a spa with a sauna. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to the beach....

Great breakfast options, very helpful staff, and convenient accommodations for young children. Our infant son loved the kids pool. Good value, close to the airport, and located somewhat centrally on the island if you have a car - it's ~30m to the southern tip (Playa Blanca) or ~45m to the northern end.
An attractive holiday resort located in a peaceful area of Puerto del Carmen, THB Flora is just 2625 feet from the beach and 1640 feet from the shopping center.

Fantastic upmarket resort with an attractive harbour and access to lots of things to do (ferry - or coastal walk - to Puerto del Carmen; submarine safari; buggy trips; jet ski trips; harbour side shops and varied restaurants and bars) in a very safe community with visible and regular security patrols. 15-20 minutes from the airport. The resort is set to go up a notch when the new Hiperdino supermarket opens, although we were a bit sad to see that Ferrer (quality fashion) and The Harbour Club (excellent dining) had closed since our last trip. However, there is still a good range of very good places to eat and drink overlooking the harbour and for shopping both Puerto del Carmen and Playa Blanca (particularly the new part between the old town and Rubicon) have excellent shops. Fund Grube and Mint are particular favourite for a splurge on fragrance and fashion - don't make the mistake of buying duty free before you have checked out Fund Grube and Dahlia for fragrance.

Beautiful harbour with bars & restaurants.
Beautiful harbour with bars & restaurants. There is some building work at the moment just outside the harbour which is affecting the properties around it with noise from 7.30am - 5 pm while building a commercial centre

Puerto Calero is a lovely harbour town which is within easy reach of the busier louder Puerto del Carmen, and only 20-30 minutes from Arecife airport. The harbour has an excellent selection of cafes, bars and restaurants, lovely views across the harbour, and a great place to sit and watch people.

The Cesar Manrique house in Haria and foundation at Tahiche are well worth a visit. His artwork and architecture are visible throughout the island. Hiring a car is probably advisable as the local bus stop is slightly out of town. Two restaurants for good quality food are Bodega Uga and La Bodega De Santiago.
The villa was amazing. The views are just stunning. Pool was a good size. Puerto Calero is the nicest part of Lanzarote in my opinion. Near enough to Puerto Del Carmen if you want a bit of night life but if your objective is to have a calm safe holiday you wont find better. The Marina was less than a 10 minute walk away and if you were tired going back to the villa you could grab a taxi for €3/€4 euro.
Good food supplies on arrival.
Spacious pleasant areas for bedroom, bathroom and kitchen.
Excellent location for the very good Sports Club Puerto Calero.
Solarium area up on the ground level.
Good access point to walking and cycling routes.
Easy to reach harbour area with numerous shops and restaurants.
Excellent Playa Quemada, beautiful beach and cliff walking area.
Staff are lovely, very good facilities and really relaxing. Konte at reception was very helpful. The town of Puerto Calero is only a 10 minute walk, and is packed with restaurants and bars.
The villa is in a great location with easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants in Puerto Calero. Spacious interior and enough sunbeds for the rooms.
