After 6 days of passing through very small towns on the Camino Aragones, Puente la Reina had a nice buzz and plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants. There were some lovely churches and old buildings and of course the 11th century bridge is beautiful and a stunning historic monument.

We really got lucky choosing this property. The host Cristina could not have been more helpful. She also owns the beautifully styled bar / restaurant downstairs. We had dinner there and it was absolutely wonderful. Wonderful local dishes beautifully prepared and presented. A real highlight of our trip and made me a hero because I was the one that suggested that we eat there. If you are reading this and are heading to Puente la Reina then we could not recommend both the apartment and the restaurant more highly.

We enjoyed the pilgrim dinner at this hotel and our room was so much nicer than we were expecting since we stayed in the hostel section (rather than the hotel) of the property. Also we loved the outdoor courtyard and bar, enjoyed sitting outside in the afternoon with fellow pilgrims. Maybe the best thing about this hostel is that I think it's the first one you come to when you get to town, so if you're tired, you're so glad to see it!

This pilgrims' albergue is in a great location near a historic bridge in the pretty village of Puente la Reina. The dorm room we stayed in was perfectly adequate, as were the bathroom / shower facilities. The albergue has laundry facilities and a nice terrace on which to dry laundry / eat / relax, etc.

Very good air condition. Breakfast was good and price worthy. We walked the Camino. The hotel is on the wrong side of the town. Used the way through the town to shop. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus to the Camino in the morning.
