Good location but not suitable for checking in and out on a Thursday as the street market blocks the road in and out from 6 am til 6 pm so checking in was delayed by 4 hours and checking out involved parking the car a few streets away and carrying everything quite a way
Situated a short walk from the Punta Prima beach, one of the most beautiful areas of the Alicante Mediterranean coast; the hotel opened in 1979 was fully renovated in 2004.

Been coming to this area for about 10 years now. It becoming more touristy and some areas feel more dirty etc because of this but since most accommodation is apartments not hotels still has a lovely family feel.

We found the resort to be very limited in the sense that if you don't like the beach, there is little or nothing else to do. Good facilities to rent boats and SUP at the marina.
My big complaint is the truly appalling public transport, especially the buses. Appalling. Some stops on Google do not exist in reality. Many do not display the buses that supposedly stop there (especially true in Torrevieja). Some buses did not stop at all, even if we were at an official stop. Buses only display their final destination. The main bus station in Torrevieja is a disaster area, chaotic would be charitable. It is as if the idea of tourists wanting to use the buses is totally alien. Dire.

There is quite a lot to do but would advise a car so you can travel to Torrevijeca etc
From my location you could walk to a supermarket, shops and restaurants
The beaches are very clean and La zenia beach had lifeguards and treatment centre which is reassuring if you have children x
Lovely beach bar /restaurant off the beach ,La Mirada, which you can either eat there or get a takeaway for the beach. There is a promenade that runs along the beach and you can walk for miles or cycle

Our stay started in an unusually cold snap, the apartment was cold as the warm air heater wasn't up to heating the whole apartment, and the wall heater was broken. We raised it with the owner. It was fixed the next day.
Apart from that, the apartment was excellent in every way.

Absolutely everything! This was my first stay in a self catering apartment (we usually only ever stay in hotels and are extremely fussy!!) But this apartment was delightful from thr moment we arrived. Location was perfect, it was child friendly, clean, modern the beds were really comfortable there was copious amounts of clean towels and lots of hangers! The terrace area outside was in the sun most of the day there was everything we could've wished for and more and will absolutely be returning!!!
All the staff were very friendly, breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and the location of the hotel was perfect. Will definitely stay again in the future. Our room was very spacious and overlooked the pool and the beach.
Great stay. Beds so comfortable. Lawrence the Manager runs a great hotel, very tidy and clean. Location spot on. Close to the beach, beautiful walks to Campomer. Everything you need. Loved our stay. Tks Lawerence.
