It was a convenient place to stay for the purpose of my visit - to visit the "grave of the man who never was". The area itself is not somewhere I'd normally like to visit.

Perfect spot to spend a couple of days. We stayed only for one night since we were going to a different city the next day. It has everything you need: kitchen equipped, A/C (living room), washing machine, etc.
Also, it has a small terrace which is very cool when experiencing a warm night in Palos. The host was also very kind with the check-in time since we arrived a bit later than we expected.
This guest house is located in Palos de la Frontera, 10 minutes’ drive from the beaches of Mazagón. It offers air-conditioned rooms with a flat-screen TV.
Senator Huelva is in the centre of Huelva, 700 metres from the Cathedral, and a 15-minute walk from the Train Station. Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel.

If you go to Palos by bus, make sure to find out what stop to get off for the hotel!
Don't go to Palos if your main interest is good restaurants.
If you have a car you can go to the other monumnents / monestary at or on the way to Rábida to see the ship replicas.

Central location with free public parking underground adjacent. Nice enough little town. Pizzas and burgers etc available but nothing to write home about regarding restaurants in the town. Nothing on offer at the hotel itself, but a rather ordinary locals' bar.
