The property is a family run hotel where you will be made to feel special and seen. Restaurant is amazing, wine options super! Clean, comfortable, excellent location and free parking, a block away from the castle, with a beautiful roof terrace. In all, like home away from home. Gracias Doña Demetria por la linda charla!

Mikel emailed regularly to be sure he would be home at the time we wanted to check in. He gave us the key to his house; we parked easily on the street, and it was a short walk to city center. The room was lovely, and the private bath was outside the room, just next door to room.

It is very well located, right in front of the castle. Most restaurants are walking distance and there is paid parking just 150 meters away. Owners are really helpful and friendly. Breakfast on the terrace was good. Great place to stay and visit Olite

Leaving
This was my 6th and last stay at this hotel. I've recommended it to friends in the past and would never again.
If you want rude to non existent service this is a good choice. Otherwise I'd recommend the Parador for excellent service or the Apartments Ducay for clean, nice and good value accommodations.
The town itself is a hidden gem in the Navarre province.
The town itself is a hidden gem in the Navarre province. It is centred around a historic rectangle that is shadowed by the Castillo. In the early evening it bustles with people, young and old alike meeting and greeting each other in the bars along the sides of the rectangle. There are many bars and restaurants down the side streets so don’t be worried to wander down them - you’ll also find small stores for food, and many hairdressers!
It is a windy town so bring something warm to wear in the evening, even in the summer months
The castillo is well worth a visit, but wear good walking shoes and be prepared to climb many of the winding stairs to get the best views. I used an audio guide which was well worth the few euros it cost to use them.
There are many churches in the town, but the most beautiful one is next to the Castillo- stunning images by the alter.
I also visited the museum of viniculture - which holds 4 floors of fascinating information about the history, growth, and wine making. This is in the square next to the church, and also houses the tourist information office.
The area around Olite town houses many wine- making companies, which also do tours- unfortunately I didn’t have time for this - next time maybe?
There are lots of bars, cafes and restaurants- best ones are down the side streets and offer great value menu del Dias.
Park outside the walls of the town and walk to get the best from Olite - driving down the narrow main streets is not advised - many cars near the marks of failed attempts at negotiating the narrow turns!

This was our second time in Olite.
This was our second time in Olite. The old centre is compact with plenty of interest. Great selection of places to eat, drink and people watch; we had an excellent supper in the Bar Ducay (corner of Rúa de Medios and Plaza Carlos III). Good base for those interested in Spanish wines - highly recommend the Bodegas Ochoa, Calle de Miranda de Arga 35.

The hotel was in a lovely location. I parked my car 3 minute walk from outside the plaza area.
It has a bar restaurant underneath the hotel and served nice food. although there was plenty of activity there was no disturbing notices. Everything was really nice.
great value for money, it felt nice to have an appartment instead of just a room for this part of our trip. It was even better to have the Air conditioning ! Very well situated, you are right in the heart of Olite !
The staff were very polite, patient with my recent loss is spanish, the food, service and room couldn’t have been better. Also found there was underground parking. Dinner was a delight.
