The Rooms are in a renovated farmhouse that is beautifully restored with bright colors and attractive style. The kitchen is nice with sufficient utensils to cook meals. The room is comfortable and clean. The bed was very comfortable, and the shutters allowed for a very dark sleeping environment. The views from the windows and balconies are pastoral. We enjoyed watching the river, the locals gardening, sheep grazing, and the views of the mountains. It is very quiet and very relaxing. There are nice walks you can take from the hotel. We fell in love with Carenas. It is a good base point to visit the surrounding areas, or like us, to relax after days of sightseeing and travel.

The location mostly. Awesomely convenient, just right in front of the nice green park with a restaurant, a small bar, and the termal lake amidst.
Comfy beds and functioning A/C. Bird sounds from the outside when opening the windows, pretty nice.
It is also mention worthy, that is absolutely awesome to be allowed to take the robe and stay on the lake throughout whole checkout day!
Breakfast was average, though complete, buffet style served.

Nice hotel with a good location, both regarding accessibility from the highway and walkable distance from the city center. We had stayed at this hotel before when it was under different management and it was good to see that it currently run well, with helpful staff and good cleanliness. There is garage parking available for a fee, but there is also usually on-street parking around the side and back of the building.

We went to the Monasterio de Piedra, which is amazingly beautiful, at Easter and on a Saturday. So the place was overcrowded, and it felt as if you were in a theme park, not in a natural park. I would go back on a regular working day if I could.
We had a nice stay at this accommodation. It has a good quality-price ratio. Our room was simple in a classic style. It featured a balcony with a nice view of La Tranquera reservoir. It was quiet at night. There is a parking next to the hotel.
