Very helpful staff who was kind and courteous, especially during check in. Very easy process and they were knowledgeable about the area and answered all my questions. Nice, safe, and secure underground parking. Very easy to find and right off the highway. Decent area with a nice park outside to sit or take a light walk.
Room was clean, wifi was very good, and the aircon worked very well. Room was actually quite large and the bed was comfortable. Check out was simple and easy.

Good location easy to walk to centre and amenities
Located in the Huerta plain and surrounded by mountains, Murcia is the capital of its namesake region and a famous producer of vegetables. This picturesque city adorned in Baroque masterpieces like the Cathedral still enjoys a peaceful, local atmosphere.
Founded in 825 by the Moorish Caliph of Cordoba in the centre of the Segura River valley, the city planners created an irrigation system that inaugurated the agricultural prosperity of the region. The Old Town -showing some of the Moorish legacy- is situated along the river banks, and its main streets Platería and Trapería have been pedestrianized for easy walking access. The centre of Murcia offers accommodation ranging from 5-star hotels to low-cost pensions.
Famous city festivities include the Holy Week, the Spring Festival, and the folkloric ‘Bando de la Huerta’. If visiting Spain and Murcia during these dates, check the hotel availability with enough time in advance. The beaches of the ‘Costa Cálida’ can be reached in less than 40 minutes’ drive. Hotels between Murcia and the beach are the best way to enjoy both the city and the sea.
Murcia-San Javier Airport is 51 km away, while Alicante Airport is 73 km away. Check out the deals on Booking.com before travelling!

I live on the Costa Callida and visit Murcia regularly with friends. We generally go to a Music Concert in the City. Also eat and drink local restaurants around the catedral and enjoy the city sights and shopping.
Parking in the Hotels overnight is economical and Taxis are inexpensive to use as a group around the city.

The Christmas lights across the streets were brilliant and the park by the river was transformed into an undersea world at night with strings of blue lights.
Plenty of places to eat and drink but not so many "sites" to visit. The cathedral was good and the Casino and there are riverside walks but we found we had too much time so took a bus to Cartagena on one day and to Lorca on another which were both interesting.

Murcia is interesting to visit.
Murcia is interesting to visit. The Casino Real is a beautiful building and well worth seeing. The cathedral is obviously the main attraction and it is situated on a lovely plaza, with plenty of eateries around which were all good. The Plaza de las Flores is situated quite close and has a nice feeling, along with a beautiful flower store. Again, some nice cafes and restaurants there which have a good vibe. The river is nice to have a stroll along too. I was disappointed with the Tourist Information Office by the cathedral however, they did not go out of their way to offer advice. I stayed in Murcia for 3 nights, I think 2 would have been better.

Murcia city and region are very nice with lovely architecture. There is a lot to see in the city but it's a good idea to have a translator app or some Spanish. It is easy to walk around. There are many restaurants and bars but 2 I would recommend are Oven Mozzarella Bar and La Tarantella. Oven is open all day if you want to dine early. Most other restaurants don't open until 8pm or later. If you like shopping there are plenty of shops in Gran Via and a weekly market on a Thursday.
In Murcia region I would recommend visiting Cartagena, Lorca, Caravaca de la Cruz and Athena. All of these can accessed by bus from the station in the City with tickets costing max 6.40 euros.

Murcia is almost dead south of the river, apart from the rail station. North of the river, the area around the Cathedral and that around the Plaza de las Flores are both busy and lively. There is no shortage of bars and restaurants in either area. The area between Gran Via and the Cathedral is full of quaint streets and alleyways, with bars and boutiques. Via Alfonso X is a lovely pedestrianised walk, with striking historical buildings. There is also a more bohemian area with a younger vibe, around the Mercado de Correos. The river has some lovely walks and views. Just south of the Plaza Circular is a large shopping area, with the usual suspects!

The property managers were very responsive to our requests. The apartment is cosy, nicely furnished and supplies appliances, extra blankets, sheets, pillows so that one does not feel lack. It is located some 20 min walk from the city centre in a very pleasant neighbourhood, close to the river. It has its own parking spot inside the building which makes it very convenient for travelling with a car.
The city of Murcia is very nice. People are welcoming and smiling.
The personnel was simply fantastic, so friendly and always ready to help. The room was situatied towards a small pedestrian alley (very quiet) and the hotel is really ideally situated for a tourist wishing to visit the old city and a scholar going to a conference at the Universidad de Murcia (Letras). There was an iron and ironing board in the cupboard, very handy. The cleaning was perfect, the bathroom was big, and the breakfast was fabulous!
The location of this hotel was perfect for exploring the area.
Reception staff were helpful and pleasant on arrival.
Breakfast was also included in the price and there was plenty of choice.
The room was a nice size and had everything needed for our one night stay.
Underground parking was provided at an additional cost of 12.50 which was reasonable for a city centre hotel
Excellent breakfast, in fact it was one of the best I've ever had in Spain. The selection of freshly baked sweets was amazing! Good location, beautiful view from the room, which was also nicely sized. We came by electric car and were able to charge it in the hotel's garage (not included in the room price).
