Very remote location which was what we wanted, but fortunately the nearest pizza restaurant delivers!

Everything was perfect, owners service, cleaning, facilities, location. We give it 5***** for all aspects, well done.! If no car, there is a bus station in the town with good connections to Murcia city, airports, . And other areas. 5 mins walk away.

The breakfast was different but ample, no cooked food but interesting. The evening meal was what, in my opinion, let the hotel down. The meals themselves were interesting but took nouvelle cuisine to a whole new level ! the portions were tiny and, at 35 Euros per head, outrageous !
The overall atmosphere was exceptionally welcoming but small things let it down. There was a kettle and fridge BUT both had to be shared....unnecessary and unwelcome if you had to get dressed for either. Probably needs to advertised to the more active and younger traveller but nevertheless, a marvellous get away from it all location helped by a very friendly staff

The host waited for us to give us the keys much later than the written time -we thank her for this. The room was very clean. It was easy to find safe street parking nearby.

My plan was to search out local places of interest in a 1 night stay. Being the hottest day of the year did not help and the heat caused my phone/satnav to turn off. I never found any of the places I planned to check out and was glad to go back home the following day. Mula town seemed dead. Saw one or two bars open. No shops. I guess most locals visit the excellent Aldi Supermarket very near my accomodation.

Mula itself has some good sights (interesting museum about the Iberian people based on what was found in graves - some amazing pots etc., castle on a hill) but not loads of things to do and only a couple of good restaurants: we ate at two with good and interesting cookery but one had limited opening days. Would be OK as a base to travel around the area but probably not very interesting to stay for more than 3 days. Some pavements are very narrow in the old part of the village, but ti is easy enough to walk around the place. Not particularly picturesque beyond the government square/castle though. Cheerful swifts (I think) flying around the old town an unusual sight and sound.

Absolutely beautiful little hotel with historic importance, right in the centre of the old town.
The lovely hosts treat you as a part of the family and do anything to make you feel welcome and comfortable. We made the most of the wonderful courtyard with a bar and small pool, and if they had served food, I don't think we would have bothered leaving the hotel at all! This place really is a little slice of bohemian chic heaven!
