Great hotel, lovely rooms and location was spot on.
Overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, Mojacar is a medieval Moorish, town in the Spanish Province of Almería. This white-walled destination, which is situated on a rocky hillside at the foot of the Sierra de Cabrera, will surprise you with its natural beauty and unique architecture.
Rich in history and cultural heritage, Mojacar has been populated since the 2000 BC by Moors, Phoenicians, Greeks, Carthaginians and Romans. Today, it is a maze of narrow streets with local shops, street markets and restaurants serving traditional dishes like the ancient 'gachas'.
Travellers can park their car and explore the old town of this beautiful resort on foot. Home to 17 km of Blue Flag sandy beaches like Granatilla, the Playa de los Genoveses and the Playa de Monsul, the modern part of this coastal resort is an ideal place to enjoy outdoor activities like swimming, sailing and surfing. Golf lovers can visit the 18-hole courses of the Marina Golf and Desert Springs.
Almería Airport is about 55 km from Mojacar and has flights to big cities like London, Brussels and Barcelona. Check the Booking.com deals and choose from a variety of hotels, apartments and guest houses in Mojacar or the nearby cities of Vera and Carboneras.

Mojacar is a very laid back and easy going seaside town (...
Mojacar is a very laid back and easy going seaside town (playa) with the older part of the town (pueblo) overlooking the sea. If you are looking for clean beaches and a bit of site seeing this is the place for you. There is plenty of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. We stayed the second week of October and the weather was still really nice with just one day of clouds and rain but still nice and warm.

Mojacar is a beautiful place , especially Mojacar pueblo.
Mojacar is a beautiful place , especially Mojacar pueblo. It’s very quirky with narrow cobbled streets and lovely little gift shop, restaurants and bars.
We have eaten at many different restaurants but this last stay we ate at La Calenda and it was beautiful, service was good and food and drinks were excellent. Location was good with a view over the bottom square. We had drinks before at Time and Place, a cute little bar down one of the cobbled streets.
I feel that some of the streets would be difficult to navigate with a pushchair and definitely not good for a wheelchair.

We like the cleanliness of the hotel as a whole.
We like the cleanliness of the hotel as a whole. The staff were friendly from start to finish. There was great variety of food on offer, it was tasty but was very lukewarm because of its location to air conditioning set at very low temperature. This was also directly above the tables and felt very cold while eating. A lot of saving could be made if this was set to around 22 to 24 deg. But all and all, we really loved the experience.

Undoubtedly the best holiday I’ve ever been on.
Undoubtedly the best holiday I’ve ever been on.
The apartment was amazing, the pool was great, the beach was beautiful, the people were friendly, the local amenities were good and the restaurants were varied and reasonably priced.
It can get very hot in Mojácar but the temperature was just perfect when we visited in mid to late June.
The ATM machines are not free to use but the charges are not too high as long as you withdraw larger amounts at one time.

A rustic, white-walled 1 bedroom secluded apartment with private terrace in the beautiful Mojácar Pueblo. This has beautiful views of the surrounding areas plus it isn’t far from Mojácar Playa if you fancy the beach. There is an elevator/lift from the car park on the lower level to the village so it isn’t a long walk. The apartment has everything we needed. The owner is very friendly and answered any messages we had straight away, they couldn’t have helped us more, thank you. Small shops and restaurants in walking distance.
What a lovely small friendly hotel. It's in a good location at the start of the Mojacar playa, right on the beach with a lovely pool area too. Rooms were clean and perfectly fine with complimentary toiletries, hairdryer & a small fridge. The hotel restaurant was excellent, the paellas looked delicious and the breakfast was good. Finally as we travelled by car to Mojacar, the hotel parking at no extra cost was a real bonus.
The location is beautiful, with a view of the sea and the surrounding countryside and mountains . The Hotel is charming and the owner very friendly . The pueblo and the playa are a few minutes drives both different experiences , well situated for further travel in all directions .
