What a beautiful property, we stayed in a fabulous room on the ground floor, very spacious and a great bathroom. We were welcomed on arrival and given a key to access the property after a certain hour. The property is about 2 minutes walk off the Camino, no restaurant on site but there is a great restaurant on the main street serving amazing food.
This hotel is set in a cliff-top castle overlooking the beach of Los Locos and the Bay of Biscay. Its headland location offers spectacular views of the sea and the dramatic coastline.
Just across the promenade from the beach in Suaces, La Concha offers wonderful views and easy access to many of Cantabria’s main attractions. It has free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.

The staff were all really courteous, polite and helpful. We tried out our Spanish, they were very patient. No Brits at the hotel which suits us!
The beach view from our balcony was really lovely. The food in the restaurant was excellent quality, mostly very tasty, we made a couple of choices that weren’t so good but that’s our fault. The cheesecake and chocolate coulant
were magnificent.

A lovely area for nature walks etc.
A lovely area for nature walks etc. Though mine was just a short stay this time, it lends itself to much more exploration of the area. Main reason for my stay, was the closeness to Santander for the ferry, yet being in a lovely, peaceful area with a great hotel. Will certainly revisit and for a longer stay.
We loved everything. hotel is just beautiful, old fashioned and so romantic. Eva and Adam are absolutely amazing, so friendly and helpful. Location is very good if you looking for quiet places but also 20 min by train to Santander, with train station 2 min walk from the hotel.
breakfast was very nice with homemade cakes and lovely bread.
