We stayed in Dona Lola and used all the facilities on site which were excellent. Walked along the board walk to Mijas a couple of times and walked to Cabopino a couple of times. We walked along the board walk most days. A couple of large supermarkets where close by but we used the site shop most days.

Mijas is just gorgeous, an absolute must visit.
Mijas is just gorgeous, an absolute must visit. We stayed for 4 nights and I would say that is about right. We managed to fit in a tour on one of the Tuk Tuk's which allowed us to see some of the more residential areas which would recommend. There are plenty of restaurants/ bars to choose from & often there is entertainment in the main square, for example, Flamenco. We took a bus in to nearby Benaldemena Pueblo as the weather was a bit iffy and that was also a great place to visit, very pretty and perhaps less touristy - again great places to eat/ drink and beautiful buildings to visit.
The only negative in Mijas is the donkeys, its very sad to see them still being used as taxi's.

Pretty little town with white washed walls, plants and outdoor cafes to stop for glass of wine. Cars do go down the narrow roads but wasn't an issue. We stayed in a few places on the actual main square but our favourite was Oscars restaurant for quality of food, service and atmosphere.

The shops are lovely and varied selling beautiful articles. There are a lot of good cafés and restaurants and it is a large village with plenty to do. The people are really warm and friendly. It also has a good bus service down to Fuengirola and beyond.

Perfection in every single way!
This property is by far and above the best accommodation that we have stayed In.
From the moment you stepped through the front door you were made to feel at home. It was perfect in every single aspect. The reviews here are an accurate testimony of a truly incredible property that offers you everything you could possibly wish for. The jewel in the crown is the owner. An is truly amazing! A lovely, warm and genuine lady. Her kindness knows no bounds. An is supported by the lovely Clara and her mother who add the icing on the cake. The panoramic view from the breakfast table is truly stunning! Awe inspiring! To conclude, we thought that this standard of a holiday home didn't exist. We are so pleased to be wrong. We will be back for sure! Thank you so much!

Casa Hermosa Mijas was definitely "hermosa' and the landlord went a long way to make it so. Google maps almost found it with some extra help by phone from Luther. The room was clean and well maintained as was the swimming pool area and the garden honesty bar. Breakfast was great. We appreciated Luther's willingness to accomodate our late departure. And Mijas itself (the hill side village next to Malaga) is worthwhile spending half a day or so. We will love to come back.
