The location was good near the town and the car park was secure. The bed was very comfortable and the buffet breakfast was very good for the price we paid.

Our stay coincided with a cold, showery Easter but the apartment has floor heating so was always warm and inviting. Very clean, would definitely stay again.

Medina del Campo is a charming location full of an ancient and Castilian flavour. Tradition is everywhere, from old and smelly bakeries to good and affordable restaurants offering great local dishes and typical cuisine. We went to enjoy Easter traditions there as they are still like they were many decades ago, so in this sense is like having a trip to the past. People are nice and very proud of their traditions. The town is nice to visit (mostly Plaza Mayor and surrounding streets, like the three 'comuneros' main streets and the many churches scattered around the village. Nearby, great excursions and accessible cross-country trips can be easily made in a surrounding full of nature and other charming villages!

I cannot fault this exceptionally well-run hotel in the center of Medina del Campo; the family who run it made sure that the reception I received on arrival and the service I obtained during my nine nights stay was personal and always first class; the bedroom was a good size, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The bar provided me each morning with an adequate light breakfast at a very modest price. I shall have no hesitation in staying again at the Hotel Reina Isabel should I return to Medina del Campo for a second visit.
The staff at front desk was super nice. I needed a taxi and didn't know enough Spanish to effectively make a conversation with the drivers. I asked for her help and she graciously helped me make multiple calls and made the reservation.
I sort of like that you leave the key at the front desk when leaving the hotel and pick it up when you return, so that you'd never worry about losing it somewhere in the town.
The receptionist was friendly and helpful.
Location was just outside town which was ok.
For anyone staying in Medina del Campo, go to the tapas bar/restaurant Mejillonera. The tapas bar has a menu to rival anything in an upmarket, large town restaurant. We had some fabulous food there. The mussel croquettes were delicious and the cuttlefish hamburger was a foodies delight!!
There is nothing I can say in favor of this hotel. The only good thing is the location, quite close to the Plaza Mayor and the parking lot, free for customers. The rest was horrible.
