We had a fabulous stay in Hosteria Gante. Comfortable, clean and centrally located. Paloma is a wonderful host. She prepared us perfectly for the town's festivities. We had no idea before we came how they celebrate December 7th, the eve of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. This 'big broom on fire' festival was a blast, as the people are so welcoming. Paloma also was so helpful in showing us how to navigate the many walking trails. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We will return to Gante for sure!
Attractive, reasonably priced little rural hotel nestled in a finca on the outskirts of Jarandilla. Perfect for a quiet rural base to explore La Vera. Large, private parking. Good swimming pool and pretty garden area.
The room was a decent size with a small bathroom including a walkin shower and included a good terrace with nice views and overlooking the gardens and pool. The staff were friendly and welcoming, highlighting places to visit and to eat. Good breakfast in the attractive dining room.
Breakfast was plentiful and fresh the lady even cooking us omelette one day then egg and bacon another .The whole hotel very clean very comfortable beds and fridge that actually got drinks very cold which is a first for us in over thirty years traveling Spain wonderful.plenty of lovely places to visit .Recommend this hotel very highly so much going back for another 5 days on return journey.
We liked the peacefulness of this location very relaxing bt the pool reading in the clean mountain air..Breakfast in garden every morning, Evalina very friendly person who keeps her little hotel spotless and gardens very pretty and well kept.This has been our third visit and definitely return in future.
It's a nice small hotel located in vicinity to nature. If you are planning to do some hikes, it could be a good base. Also, it's a short walk to towns restaurants and cafes. Also, we were served very good breakfast, which we enjoyed in the garden.
The host was ever helpful and charming, service second to none. The location is really convenient for exploring the whole La Vera area and the village of Losar de La Vera itself has several good quality restaurants.
