Situated in the attractive mountain town of Lesaka and surrounded by a striking landscape of valleys, this is a cosy and tastefully decorated hotel with traditional exposed beams and décor.
This small, family-run hotel is situated on the banks of the River Bidasoa, on the Irun-Elizondo Green Route. Its heated rooms offer mountain views and there is also a free Wi-Fi zone.

Location is great. The village is small so anywhere is ok but it's close to a free car park. Very good recommendations for food. The room is very simple but comfortable beds. The shared bathrooms are very clean. Great value for money!

The location is superb! Really close to the cute little town of Lesaka but tucked away in a corner sorrounded by nature! The host, Mikel, was cheerful and helpful and kind. There’s walks around this area to just relax and disconnect but if you grab your car you can be in France or the basque beach quickly. The price was super fair as the facilities are simple but clean and have everything you need! Would highly recommend :) Gracias Mikel!

Bera is a town situated in the province of Navarre, northern Spain. The town is traversed by the river Bidasoa before it enters Gipuzkoa at Endarlatsa, eventually flowing into the Cantabrian Sea between the towns of Hendaye and Hondarribia. The historic 18th Century building Hotel Churrut is located within the picturesque village Vera de Bidasoa-Bera - the family Churrut home exudes period charm providing a comfortable tranquil stay. The Junior suite offers the balcony overlooking the garden and the spectacular Basque Pyrenees mountains also furnished a comfortable King size bed and spacious bath/shower room. The Churrut Family Hotel personnel provided friendly helpful attentive service ensuring we felt special during our stay. Breakfast 0800-1000hrs was a sumptuous Spanish Buffet of local and home-made produce served in the sun-room overlooking the garden and the hotel restaurant set in the old blacksmith's workshop, serving traditional Navarin specialities.
Set in Bera and with Hendaye Train Station reachable within 15 km, Hostal Ansonea offers express check-in and check-out, non-smoking rooms, a terrace, free WiFi and a bar.
This quiet small village shows an entirely different face...
This quiet small village shows an entirely different face during the carnival season. There are the traditional costumes which is a bit scary (for small children) but really lovely to see. The next day, all the village was disguised for the occasion - only the tourists weren't - and it's so lovely. Check out the event calendar.
It's not far from the towns such as Irun, San Sebastian, Hondabirria, etc., and yet you can also visit other small villages in the mountain.
Lesaka has a lot of places to eat and relax. A restaurant/bar Kasino is very well known to serve super omelettes (tortillas Navarro) but watch out, you need to reserve a table AND the omelette before hand otherwise you will have to wait for a long, long time. The omelettes are also expensive (30E for 3 portions, 40E for 4, etc.) and you need to anticipate this.
The village is wholeheartedly recommend.

Friendly village, great tapas at local bar, fabulous fruit shop, decent cafe for breakfast. The local garage helped me out for free, the villagers all very friendly.
Well worth the 15km trip off the beaten track.
What a beautifully well put together hotel, amazing large traditional rooms with original features typical of the finest Navarran village. Central location in Lesaka which is a charming place. Warm & tranquil feeling in the hotel, super hot sauna :) which is rare in even the most modern hotels, and a lovely balcony area, lovely helpful & accomodating staff. Can't fault this place, will be back...
I think the strongest points of this hotel are location and breakfast. The hotel is conveniently located to see nearby towns, ride a bike in the area. The breakfast is of very good quality with fresh orange juice and good ham included. The staff were friendly. We did not have dinner there but for what I could see it looked delicious.
Minimalist and stylish.
Great location in the cool mountains within reach of lots of amazing beaches for swimming or surfing.
Lesaka had a very nice feel to it with lots of independent local shops.
Safe parking for a car.
