We like the location, it is very easy to drive to any wineries. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The view from the hotel is very beautiful. We have everything we need. The car park is secured under the hotel with gate. We are right outside the old town and the town is very pretty and interesting.

Very cute, historic inn and winery close to everything in the town, including one of the gates near the parking areas, which are all outside the city walls. The husband-wife team that runs the hotel was very helpful and it was a nice bonus to have a great restaurant and a working, historic winery in the hotel. Everything was fantastic and we would stay there again.

This property is right in the centre of Laguardia, a medieval walled village surrounded by vineyards. Cars must be left outside the village which adds to the old-world charm as you walk everywhere - nowhere is very far!
Breakfast was found in a cafe 2 doors away and restaurants are too numerous to mention. We tried a few and they were very good.
Proprietors Terri and Robert were very keen to make our visit memorable and booked us on tours and into restaurants that we would not have found alone.
Laguardia has a magical atmosphere that The Manor House complements very well.

Well located in Laguardia. Our host welcomed us with a glass of wine in the cellar from his family vineyard.

Laguardia is a stunning place to visit, the views of the surrounding countryside from the town are breath taking. Walking around the walled town's narrow streets is magical, especially in the evening. There are many Bodegas where you can take a wine tasting tour of the underground cellars where they are still used as a winery. A visit to the Church of Santa Maria is a must, book your tickets in the tourist office in the centre of Laguardia. There are many restaurant/coffee shops and shops but be aware that on Sunday and Monday's many places are either shut or only open for a few short hours. The Irish Tavern is great for Pintxos a place many locals frequent also Bar Los Sietes. I highly recommend Restaurante Biazteri 1974 for Pintxos or dinner but make sure your reserve a table if you want the "Menu Del Dia"

What a spectacular place - so unexpected, one of the most beautiful towns I have ever been to. Authentic medieval walled hill town with tiny narrow streets of honey coloured stone protected by huge walls and gates. It’s set in the middle of the stunning Rioja wine making valley, with vineyards in all directions protected by stunning hills and distant mountains, The spectacular views on every side of the town remind one of a medieval tapestry. In the evening the narrow streets are full of locals from kids to grannies in wheelchairs out living the good life in bars and cafes. Gorgeous

LaGuardia is a cute town with tons of history. There is easy parking so getting in and out of town is stress free. There are so many wineries within a short distance that you can do many. The one in town is so cool. With underground tunnels and so much history.

Laguardia is a small fortress village on top of the hill but there are lifts from the bottom road that take you to the village. The place is pretty quaint and crisp. It is worth spending a day there with a visit to one of the bodegas. The church is big and beautiful inside. Worth 2-50e for a visit, Even though the guide only speaks Spanish. Plenty of bars with pintxos.
Both the beautiful small walled town of Laguardia and the charming hotel, were a complete surprise, in an extremely pleasant way. The hotel’s location in the town is perfect and central.
