Honest review:
Beach was crowded (in January)
Town is picturesque and super cute! Unfortunately we went to take pictures around lunch and a lot of the streets had the cleaning carts in them, which puts a damper on some pictures.
Super crowded on Fridays due to the market. If driving, park behind the supermarket.
There was some sort of event that was going to occur, I had parked in legal street parking. I received a call from rental car saying police would seize the car if it was not moved asap. There was no indication on street or hotel informing us of event. Thankfully, we were able to move the car.
Food: We went to a couple recommended places and maybe it was off nights , but all food was well under seasoned and underwhelming. After the second meal, we went elsewhere for dinner.
Monaco Mar: vibe is amazing, piano player is a huge plus. Food was bland and I think the best thing was the kids chicken nuggets.
Taj Mahal Indian restaurant: super friendly, food was decent. Requested hot flavoring in the Butter Hciken, and it was super sweet with no heat. Tikka Masala was delicious!
Activities:
Wanted to do the submarine tour but we showed up and the sign said it was closed due to weather conditions. Big bummer as our kids really wanted to do it, and it was a gorgeous day.
Instead we met the lady at the information stand through Aquasports and rented a private boat for 2 hours.
It’s so easy to drive through Gran Canaria. It’s like one big highway and the roads are so nice and had plenty of signs.

It is a very nice location for a quiet holiday base , we had a car so were able to explore other resorts . Some very nice restaurants we especially liked the Asia house and Samaras grill house, both had great food and great service.
The entire port is filled with tourists on Friday market day.
It really is a little Venice when you walk around the harbour area.
Don't be tempted to go up to Mogan it is a small village in the mountains unless you like that sort of day out.

A wonderful area of Gran Canaria, away from the drunken louts and shirt-off brigade. It was a very nice clean area, we felt very safe there with our young children, even at night walking the streets, a really enjoyable holiday.

Wonderful peaceful resort which we have visited regularly.
Wonderful peaceful resort which we have visited regularly. Fabulous restaurants and bars. Busy during the day when boats come across from Puerto Rico. Market on a Friday is huge - very busy.
Make sure you eat at Carpe Diem and go to the alley bar which plays jazz music

There were many restaurants to choose from, we ate at a few, but loved Sabidan, slightly quieter, great food especially the chicken and fabulous staff.
Very easy to get around, we went everywhere on foot, Puerto de Mogan is also a very accessible place for wheelchair users.
The architecture in Puerto de Mogan is stunning as are all the beautiful flowers.
Very nice, friendly, easy place to be in.

A nice resort to relax on the beach and around the marina.
A nice resort to relax on the beach and around the marina. Good choice of restaurants although prices did vary. Can get a bit busy for parking especially on market day (Friday) when we had to move the car away form the apartment area. Not a problem for us as we like walking but could be restrictive for some.
We were self catering and found plenty of things for breakfasts and snacks in small supermarket nearby and main SPAR a few minutes walk away.

Still the best value private room on the island. Have stayed before and was a little worried after reading some of the recent reviews but everything was great . The terrace is amazing, the room was bright and clean and we had room 11 which has a nice view down to the port. It's cool to stay in an authentic Canarian villa and Puerto de Mogán itself has much more "character" than the likes of Puerto Rico or Maspalomas. Pity there are not more pensions like Eva in the south of Gran Canaria.
The property was perfect, very spacious, clean and comfortable. It had everything needed to make a great holiday. Breakfast on the terrace in glorious sunshine was amazing, the apartment had sun in the morning until teatime and was really appreciated. Richard the owner was helpful and available if needed. we would recommend this great apartment to anyone wanting to stay in a good location in Puerto de mogan
Loved the central location to Puerto de Mogan.Quality if the furnishings in main living area was of a good standard.Nice, modern kitchen and bathroom.
Little extras like water, milk and even coffee beans for the machine were appreciated.
The apartment has two terraces which both have lovely views. The roof terrace was especially nice, with all day sun,a jacuzzi and another kitchen area.
The apartment was located in a heard of very nice town- Puerto de Mogan, surrounded by narrow streets and white houses and close to the beach and restaurants. Apartment was quite modern. There was a fan in each room, so it was not hot. 2 bathrooms are very important for big family. We had everything we needed.
The location, the quietness, the ease of access to Puerto de Mogan, the garden and pool areas, the breakfast. The staff, the relaxed atmosphere. The climate!!! Thoroughly recommend staying here.
