Well where to start, We booked Sunny Day as a one night stopover as our usual accomodation wasnt ready till the Saturday. So when we search on the internet and we seen Sunny Day it looked nice so we thought to book and we are so happy we did, Sunny Day far exceeded our expectations. Its rare these days to be surprised but Sunny day and especially Franc were absolutely amazing. Franc greeted us with a text message to make sure we arrived in Gran Caneria and to tell us that our room was all ready for us, this was at 10 in the morning, we was thinking we would have to wait to get into our accomodation but Franc was there ready for our arrival. When we arrived we was so leased with everything about Sunny Day, the host, the cleanliness, the location just everything about Sunny day was perfect. The appartment was beautiful and so clean, Looking out it was perfectly placed we honestly couldnt want for more and Franc couldnt do enough for us greeting us in the monrning with fresh pastry products/fruit everything we could want Franc had, perfect. . If I could give Sunny Day a 11 I would in a heart beat. if you want a place to stay in Gran Caneria then look no further, honestly you cant get any better and you will be so happy that you stayed here. Modern and well kept, with attentive and friendly staff. Kept scrupulously clean by the housekeeping service on a daily basis. Well stocked Spar on site makes self catering a breeze. Infinity pool overlooking the sea is decent, as is the pool at the Perchel Beach Club. Not mad busy, even at peak season when we were there.

A hidden gem away from the busy towns, but still plenty of shops and restaurants. Less bars meant less groups of young adults, so really good for couples and families. Nice places to eat along the sea front.

We already lover Playa de Arguineguin as stayed at Anfi...
We already lover Playa de Arguineguin as stayed at Anfi Beach a few times with family so know the area well. We ate at Bell Pasta, Tapas Tapas and ha a waffle and Ice cream at the waffle café. We walked to most facilities and restaurants as there is a lovely strip all the way round the bay adjacent to the sea.

We took a taxi to Puerto Rico (the old shopping centre). Seemed like it was from another era - would avoid next time. Walked to Henry's restaurant but it was closed! Then walked to WIGWAM, a craft beer bar, which was a highlight.

I always hire a car when abroad, CICAR are easily the best. Travel is great to the airport (25 mins) and easy access to next few towns. Arguineguín is quiet, has many lovely beaches, wonderful weather and patient Spanish speakers to practise with. Great walks along the shore, closely following the cliffs. Boat trips and parasailing are available, Local restaurants are of a good standard, and for the kidiwinks there are two McDonalds. Very good local supermarkets and the local tropical lager is drinkable at 2 euro a pint. Shopping the the Mogan Mall is fine for the shopaholics.

We know GC well and chose the area as we know it’s a local area not an English holiday resort.
Love the improvements they have made with the promenade, beach etc.
Really good links to main roads so quick to reach our favourite parts of the island.
We also took the ferry to visit Puerto Mogan which was fun.

Unfortunately, the beach was grey and dull with no decent views and the harbour area was just as unattractive. You can visit the harbour and as for us was not that kind of beach that we are used to I advise you to go to Maspalomas for an amazing sandy beach.
You can visit as well Puerto Rico and Puerto de Mogán.
Very closed to Arguineguin Beach is Anfi Beach.
The beach of Anfi del Mar is one of three artificial beaches on the island of Gran Canaria.

High Floor Appartement with great sunset views, public beach close by (1min walk), very clean (cleaning 5x week incl. new towels), good kitchen equipment, no noise from outside. Few parking lots just in front of the hotel - most of the time not available. Big gravel parking lot next to the hotel at the seaside - always space. Very satisfied with our stay.
Cant tell anything about breakfast&Dinner - did not try it out. SPAR supermarket 2 walking mins away
The hotel was excellent in many ways, the facilities were lovely, the staff were without exception kind and courteous, however the holiday was spoiled by sickness, which unfortunately points to an issue of contamination/poor hygiene. In line with many other reviews, we were affected by sickness and diahorrea, which was incredibly unpleasant and meant that several days of the holiday were completely ruined.
There is nothing to be corrected in this hotel. The communication through the reservation and during the stay was first class, the apartment is great quality, very clean, you feel that they did not want to save money on you.
Everything. Location, view, comfort. It was a really nice place, with lots to do around and it is possible to use 4 swimming pools of the other Anfi del Mar hotels.
