Fantastic location very close to the lifts. Good breakfast with chef preparing omelets and fried eggs. A nice relaxing sitting area with bar service for quiet after ski.
This hotel is situated in a stunning, mountainous setting, surrounded by 2,500-metre-high peaks, and is very near the ski station at La Molina, Catalonia.

Very good place for skiing. The lift was nearby, cafes and a supermarket were nearby. The apartments were cozy and comfortable. The hostess welcomed us with a bottle of wine. We recommend it to everyone.

La Molina had suffered from a distinct lack of natural snow when we visited in January but the extensive snowmaking meant that there was plenty of choice and variety, especially if you used the links over to Masella.
The town itself is fairly functional, and the night life would appear to be very quiet but that suited us fine.
We saw lots of chamois up the mountains and also a fox

Climate change is robbing the eastern Pyrenees of their precipitation so snow machines are the order of the day. The demand on water resources for this is unsustainable.
The Catalonians have gone to town with their language so forget your school-learnt Spanish and get deep into Google Translate. It doesn't get a lot of English tourists so not everyone there will be able to speak English. Despite being very close to France they don't speak that language either.

La Molina is good for beginners and better during the week.
La Molina is good for beginners and better during the week. At weekends it can be overcrowded at the bottom with longer queues at the first lift and for material rental and difficult to find parking. Once higher up it's better. Check weather because snow is not always great in La Molina.
Stuff there is very friendly and good restaurantes at the slopes.

La Molina is a perfect destination for good skiing, a relaxed atmosphere and quality service. So not pretentious like many resorts in the Alps, not overpriced and everything you need is in one place. We will certainly return. we were lucky to be there just out of season, which made it a very easy and memorable experience, it helped that the snow was great, the sky was blue and the sun was out each day.

Very small, quiet resort, easy parking everywhere, no queues at the lifts (at least not during the week but we saw the traffic queues coming towards the mountains from Barcelona on Friday evening!). Beautiful empty slopes on top of several mountains with some cafes. Restaurants in La Molina open very late or were closed all the time, so not great for families who want to eat early. Only one small shop. Snow conditions ok because it had snowed a lot 3 weeks earlier, but melting quickly. Very sunny and warm. I think, personally, I would not book to far in advance without knowing if it had snowed.

This is a family friendly medium size resort, with many activities and slopes for kids. Every ski chair is equipped with a protective sit-bar for kids not to slip. The surrounding is nice, reasonable price in the cafes on the slopes.
Not for hard-core skiers :)

perfect location!
Walking distance to multiple restaurants (around 2min walk) that you will really appreciate after the whole day and even more important - close by to ski resort
You don’t need to chase the parking space in the morning which makes it so much easier to enjoy
Room was quite big and beds were very comfortable
WiFi signal quite poor but we didn’t mind as our weekend was purely to disconnect and enjoy the snow
Very helpful staff. We had a simple but good room. After skiing plenty of hot water and a bath wad very welcome. Lovely breakfast all we could eat and help yourself, ideal for a good start to the day on the slopes. Good lockers for skis and boots at the hotel and a great supermarket just opposite, close to the bus stop. A short, 100m walk to the main ski lift to the highest point.

Very clean and cosy apartment, with beautiful views. Dinner was lovely and staff very friendly. Location was superb as it is walking distance from the ski resort.
