Great hotel with a charming Marian museum inside. There's a small local minimart nearby for snacks, water, and wine, and a fantastic local bar just around the corner. The shower area was pleasant, with hot water, and the toilet was clean and well-ventilated.

the host, Ana, was so friendly and ameniable. it was apparent that that they had great pride in their apartment which was right on the front overlooking the bay. Attention to detail qas evident, and the embroidery on toŵels, cushions etc were all done by Ana. I wish I was staying a couple of more nights. Coffee for the mornig , with bread.

Five stars! I have no idea why anyone would rate it lower. Loved the location, view, facilities, cleanliness, hostess and her daughter. Would have loved to have stayed longer, but was walking the Camino.

An unexpectedly attractive town with beautiful harbour and nearby mountain. Lanes often steep and narrow so car driving tricky but possible. Plenty of restaurants and a bakery offering very good breakfasts. A walk up to the castle above the town was enjoyable.

Location is extraordinary to people who apreciate nature, great views, great photos on susnset and sunrise. Very quite and nice remodeled and modern infraestructure. Really suprised that it is only 1 or 2 stars Hotel.
Mountain Hotel with great seafodd restaurants at the La Guardia fishing harbour at 10 min by car.
I will bring familiy here for sure..
The hotel was pleasant and thankfully had an elevator especially as my room was on the third floor and I was very tired after a long Camino walk that day. The location was the key positive as it was only a short way to the fishing port with its excellent selection of restaurants. Breakfast was simple and served promptly. A good stay !
The Convento de San Benito hotel is amazing. Superbly located on the coast in a beautifully restored historical building. The staff are just lovely, the breakfast buffet is superb and the rooms are very comfortable. I wish I could have stayed here longer.
The hotel is only just off the Camino Portuguese, it is situated close to a lively square with lots of amenities. We we were able to do some laundry and get it dry on the terrace. Staff were friendly.
Hotel Marouco is amazing. The host was so lovely, making me a cup of tea and offering to put on the jacuzzi for me. Really warm and helpful. The best was one of the comfiest of the Camino.
