The house is very quiet despite the proximity of the airport, we did not hear the planes. The garden is big and sunny. It was a bit chilly (January) and the landlord gave us some wood to make fire, we also found a good place nearby to buy some more. The beds are very good and there are plenty of blankets and towels available. Everything is clean and welcoming.

Communal areas were very impressive- entrance/foyer seating, cafe, vinoteca, rooftop area. All enjoyable to relax with a drink in a stylish setting. Staff were wonderful.

Good location for exploring the north of Tenerife. Close to airport and to the city but also rural. Several restaurants and a relaxed small town atmosphere. Typical Canarian town. Some small roads but all fine with a satnav. We selected this area specifically to spend a couple of days exploring the forests and Teide by car.
The cafe/cake store is great (weekends) and we enjoyed a very good steak at Bodega Campestre. Great for a couple of nights. We coupled it with a night in La Leguna for an awesome bolt of culture.

The city is close to the Airport North, Tacoronte, La Laguna and Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The Anaga, Teide National Park are accessible as well. The Forestal Park is next to the city which contains big, ancient pine trees, I recommend it to hike. The city is also nice small but has many possibilities: markets, shops, bars, restaurants. If you like a small city which surrounded by pineforest and not so warm during the summer (800-900m above sea level) then it is your destination.

Marcos the host is on of the kindest people ready to help you with anything and make your stay better than you would expect it. The service is better than in a 4star hotel!
Definetely enjoy the breakfast with him if you choose to have this option.
The hotel is located in the city of La Esperanza, which is a very calm area, located on the mountain. The structure is welcoming, the room was spacious and clean. Next to the hotel there is a bus stop that go to Laguna. The manager was very friendly and gave me some tips on what to visit on the island.
Lovely room and hotel in general, plenty of character, the water cooler for guests to use a very nice touch, perfect location to visit the area, the owners were helpful and friendly
