The property had everything you needed. It was spotlessly clean, there really wasn’t anything to fault! The location is great, easy walking everywhere. And our host ‘Eva’ was just so welcoming, very professional and genuinely nice.
Would definitely return and highly recommend.

Cala de Mijas is a small place with plenty of eateries and less busy than the larger resorts. It is easy to get to other resorts for the day due to the excellent transport links or coach and rail services

It's got everything you need for a fantastic holiday.
The restaurants are all amazing, priced well, lots of choice too.
Lovely shops, cafes and a great market on Wednesday & Saturday.

It is growing in popularity but still has a small town...
It is growing in popularity but still has a small town spanish feel about it. Very safe at night and we enjoyed the Fair. Lots of places to eat and drink and the beach is great. A good location to visit other places nearby such as Marbella or Mijas itself.

it is a little town with a wonderful beach, fantastic restaurants, all in walking distance, great flee market twice a week, near to anything going south the coast direction Marbella or north direction Fuengirola - Málaga. They have a beautiful Golf course. Live entertainment on weekend.

Lovely town and very welcoming and safe , the beach is beautiful. LOTS of building work going on this year of hundreds of new apartments so I’m not sure if all this influx of people will change the lovely family atmosphere

La Cala de Mijas is a perfect location to base your stay...
La Cala de Mijas is a perfect location to base your stay especially if you like to travel to other neighbouring towns using the local transport, which is very good value for money for the distance you travel.
It has a big market on Wednesday and Saturday mornings that have excellent fruit and veg stalls as well clothing etc.
It has a huge boardwalk that is brilliant to walk along and it's all on the flat.
There are many bars and restaurants to choose from and 'Bar Legends' has live entertainment, tribute bands and once inside the owner and staff really look after you.
We live not far away but always look forward to our visits here and have never been disappointed.
Would recommend it to people of all ages.

Really friendly staff on reception and in La Plaza restaurant and bar. Food was amazing with so much to choose from - and as I’m gluten free, so much sin gluten! Great entertainment too along with activities to participate in - great sangria making!
Well looked after resort with a great little shop on site. Not far at all to the nearest supermarket. Will be back!
The stuff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room was located away from the highway, so it was quiet. The area is very green. We didn't go the nearest beach as we prefer one in la Cala de Mijas (5 minutes by car). A good base for trips to Malaga, Ronda, Gibraltar. Great place for a family.
the staff were exceptional, very clean and tidy, apartment smelt so fresh. location is beautiful, fully stocked with appliances and utensils, plenty of storage space. pool is perfect as well as BBQ area. best place we have stayed in Spain.
