I loved the restaurant for dinner. Food was well prepared and delicious. A lot of food for a good price. Excellent value.
The only thing I would ask the hotel to improve is the quality of the breakfast buffet.

Pleasant stay. Staff very helpful. Great restaurant due to the kitchen that prepares dishes in a traditional manner. This was the outstanding aspect of our stay. The restaurant staff also great.

Nice town and pretty good hotel.
Only one complain - I stayed in room 311. Some freaky internal designer placed a shelf above the sitting place of the desk. On getting up from the chair I smashed my head in that shelf. It still hurts! fortunately I have a strong head. Please remove that shelf. Next guest may have a weaker head....

O Grove is effectively a small island which you can visit by...
O Grove is effectively a small island which you can visit by car very easily. There is a lovely viewpoint called “Miradoiro da Siradella” which is just a few minutes’ drive up the hill in the south-east of the island, and plenty of quiet sandy beaches to die for – remember that the temperature of the water is always on the cold side. A little research shows that, based on historical data over a period of ten years, the warmest water in mid-August in O Grove was recorded in 2012 and was 19.1°C, and the coldest was recorded in 2007 at 15.8°C. So, to swim you need to be comfortable with that (i.e., quite a few people do not do it). Nevertheless, if you want to escape from the south-of-Spain kind of climate, this is for you and it actually feels very regenerating being able to sleep at night, perhaps with a light duvet, or walk in the town centre streets in the evening with a jumper, even in August.

This little fisher village from former days has evolved into an elegant place to stay, with lots of facilities and accomodations. The right place for relaxing in a beautiful landscape near the Atlantic Ocean.
There are lots of clean beaches, bike lanes and walking paths for outdoor activities. Special highlight: Praia de Pedras Negras in San Vicente! Organised boat trips are offered for exploring the Ria de Arousa. And last but not least: The fresh seafood on the table.
Closeby, the tiny island La Toja, with ist famous soap factory and Gran Hotel are worth a visit.

Near ideal holiday house. Old stone building with charm outside with beautifully remodelled inside. Great view to the sea and the mountain on the other side. Beautiful neighbourhood and good walk as well. Walking distance to the beach. Natural water fountain nearby.
Many beautiful and quiet beaches in the region. O Grove has a dream like market filled with superfresh seafoods, local cheese, meat products, wines etc. Amazing!
It actually exceeded my expectations. From location to amenities, cleanliness and super accommodating staff, everything was perfect! We stayed with our dog, no extra charge. Late checkout was also free. Free parking within 100 metres from the hotel. Thank you, we will definitely be back!
Really nice hotel to stay in O Grove. It is well-located, and the staff is really attentive. I enjoyed the room and rest in a quiet place after being camping nearby.
