When we arrived we were told that as they had a large party staying there, they had booked us in in a hotel just nearby. We eventuall found that "nearby hotel" 11 Kms away. That was a very nice hotel and the facilities, food and staff were very good. However it was too far from Cangas to be able to "nip into" town for the evening.

The host was super super friendly and explained everything very well even though I can't speak Spanish and he only spoke a little English ;-) The room was clean and the bed very comfortable.

It is one of the best hotels I've ever been. The location is very good to have trip to the lakes, the breakfast is exellent (hot meal, croissants, pies, cakes, cheese and meat, yogurts, fruits, good coffee). A nice place for rest after walking in the mountains. There are very comfortable beds in the room, a coffeemaker, a table and chairs. The stuff is friendly. Thanks a lot for a wonderful stay!

The staff was very friendly. Even though the room had no refrigerator, they offered to store our baby's food on their kitchen. Breakfast was good. They have a living room with toys for kids.

Everything was perfect! The room was clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable and overall the atmosphere in the room was very cosy. We had dinner there both nights we were staying and the food was great, a bit pricy but definitelty worth it! Also, the hotel is just 10 minutes walk from the village of Covadonga.
