The hotel itself is a stunning building dating back to the mid 1800's and the style and decor has been kept in style with this. The rooms were simple and basic but clean, comfortable and quiet. There was a lack of electrical sockets but we managed Ok . Although the cost seems expensive, we were allowed to use the balnearios before check in by getting a stamp at reception and also the day we checked out. Therefore, deducting the entrance over the two days we were there, (€60 for two of us) the hotel was only €40. We also paid extra for dinner, which wasn't to our taste ( English.: / ) so when we go again, we will probably eat at the snack bar, but it was good value with wine included.
For the pools, you need a swim hat or you can buy one there and towelling robes are provided by the hotel for free (deposit needed) which was great, especially in the evening.
The pools themselves were amazing, especially at night when they are illuminated and the sky is so clear. It was kinda magical!
We will definitely go again.

A fantastic rural house, with new, modern facilities. Host Raymond is on hand to help, but not in your way. He made a priority of comfortable beds and hot showers. It was the best bed we slept in the whole trip. The pool area is amazing, as are the views. It is located away from the town so it is peaceful, but close to the three fabulous spa areas of Fortuna and Archena. The town is a 10 min drive to supermarkets and restaurants. The property is difficult to find initially. Your GPS will not find it, so make sure you get detailed instructions from Raymond before you come, while you have internet. Plenty of parking! There is also a pool table and air hockey table, bbq and outdoor setting.

Very nice, clean, modern hotel, a quick tram ride away from downtown Murcia. Spacious, clean, comfortable rooms. Decent buffet breakfast, and free parking on the street outside the hotel (or paid parking in the hotel garage). Great value!
Located 1.2 mi from Murcia city center and 1.9 mi from Murcia Convention Center, Ibis Murcia offers a 24-hour snack bar. Each air-conditioned room features satellite TV.

Very helpful staff who was kind and courteous, especially during check in. Very easy process and they were knowledgeable about the area and answered all my questions. Nice, safe, and secure underground parking. Very easy to find and right off the highway. Decent area with a nice park outside to sit or take a light walk.
Room was clean, wifi was very good, and the aircon worked very well. Room was actually quite large and the bed was comfortable. Check out was simple and easy.
Located within a building dating back to 1755 which has been restored to retain its original character and splendor, this boutique hotel was opened at the end of 2005.
Fortuna is in the Murcia region and inland from the coast.
Fortuna is in the Murcia region and inland from the coast. There is nothing particularly significant about the small town but the Banos de Fortuna are well worth a visit. There the actual baths themselves but also you can visit the Camping Fuente site which has even larger thermal pools & a good restaurant. Entry fee 7.50 euros each.

If you want a relaxing stay with a choice of three fantastic thermal spa areas; the posh hotel and hostel/camping pools of Fortuna, and the larger spa of the hotel in Archena, then a few days in Fortuna will deliver. Both the hotels offer a 3 course lunch (extra cost) at a reasonable price. You could easily spend a day at each location. We did.

The town has a lovely market on Saturday. All the shops and banks are easy to access. Be prepared to eat very late as the restaurants do not open until at least 8.30 in the evenings - not a problem for us. Easy to navigate around. We ate at Bar del Campo twice and could not fault the food or service.

Very varied stalls plus fruit and vegetables.
Many cafes and restaurants in the main street.
Hotels with Spas very near the town.

Wrong time of year to visit much in and around Fortuna was closed. The hotel appears to be understaffed our stay way not enjoyable in fact we left a day early and that's out of a booking of only 3 days.
Sorry not for us the advertising painted a picture of a far better higher quality place then was actually provided.
If your a caravan owner of this site perhaps good but the hotel is very poor.

The building is very fine - although in need of renovation.
The building is very fine - although in need of renovation. Most other aspects were sub-standard. The management should take lessons from the Parador group on how to cater for their guests who expect quality service for a premium price. Especially non native Spanish guests.
Overall a disappointing experience

We received a very warm welcome on arrival. The property is in a beautiful, peaceful location. All the facilities, en-suite & kitchen area were all brand new and easy to use. The bed was the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in when away from home. The property is not far from the Fortuna thermal baths which has a good restaurant and hot spring swimming pools.
The hotel was very old and the location was stunning as were the thermal baths . There were even wheelchairs available for those, like me, who needed one to enter the water
