Interesting old building with a fascinating history, within 5mins walk of the centre of the town. Excellent helpful host (Maria). We had a lovely bedroom on the second floor with a view over the town to the mountains. Great breakfast. A great alternative to the large hotels nearby that cater for the skiing season.
This mountain hotel is just 500 metres from Formigal Ski Resort. Free buses to the ski slopes stop outside the hotel. The rooms in the Hotel Tirol are spacious and all have heating and free Wi-Fi.
Everything was great. This was out second stay at this hotel, and we came back for a reason. Both our stays were in the summer, so some things might be different during the winter season. The location is great and quiet, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The room is spacious and clean, and the kitchen comes in handy. There is free parking nearby and the small town has a great restaurant nearby.
The apartment is located in El Pueyo de Jaca, some 15Km away form Formigal Ski Station. The village is a small one very quiet and the ride to the station is acceptable. I would certainly consider this apartment for and ski or trekking trip. Very comfy beds and all the needed utilities. Parking on the same building.
