The apartment is very tastefully and comfortably furnished, has all the necessary equipment, the bed is super comfy, it has a huge balcony with view to the pools and beautiful sunset over the ocean. It is located in a very quiet and peaceful apartment complex, with free usage of the pool. Ben is a very friendly and attentive host, he replies immediately and provides all the necessary information. The check-in and check-out went smoothly. I would recommend this apartment for people who want to enjoy a peaceful vacation away from the hustle and bustle of the very "touristy" places, like Los Cristianos.

Conveniently located in the south west of Tenerife about 20 mins by car from South airport. Not a tourist hotspot but it does cater adequately for them. Close by the popular tourist hotspots (Los Cristianos, Playa de las Americas, etc.) for those who want to party.
Locals (including expats) are welcoming and there are some decent restaurants.

Palm Mar has all the amenities you require all within walking distance.
The beach has a nice restaurant.
A great place to stay if you enjoy walking and cycling.
The bus services are restricted but adequate.

Nice apartment on a nice complex. palm mar is a very quiet resort with a few bars and restaurants and a supermarket. No promenade as such and no beach facilities. More for the older end of the market, having said that we really enjoyed our four week stay.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, but the amenities were disappointing, as the heated pool wasn't available, the breakfast restaurant was just a limited pool bar opening at 10 a.m., parking was chargeable, and the Wi-Fi was unreliable.

Palm-mar is a beautiful and peaceful part of Tenerife.
Palm-mar is a beautiful and peaceful part of Tenerife. Close to the more touristy resorts, about 10-20 minutes by car and about 20 minutes from Tenerife South Airport. Recommend hiring a car to explore the island. It has some amazing restaurants including Casa Mia and Trigo. Bahia Beach Club was lovely for afternoon and evening drinks right on the coast. We took a whale watching trip from Adeje which was amazing. We enjoyed the quietness of Palm-mar and will definitely visit again. We visited for a week in October.

Although Palm-mar is also a touristic location, it is certainly outside the crazy locations just around the corner (Los Christianos, Las Americas, Ajede) and just more relaxed and sophisticated. It is a well laid-out village with everything you need and it provides the rest if you are looking for that.
