Visited Faro de Cullera in low season so difficult to say...

Visited Faro de Cullera in low season so difficult to say what it may be like in July or August. Plenty of restaurants and bars around within easy walking distance. Beach is lovely. Very clean and good views across the bay. Would love to go again and stay for longer. Cullera is just over a half hour train journey from Valencia Nord, then Faro de Cullera is a short taxi or bus ride from Cullera train station.

Excellent location . Unable to exchange pound to Euro.

Excellent location . Unable to exchange pound to Euro. Nearest place to exchange Valencia- 60km by train Very Spanish. No one spoke English. All menu in Spanish. Excellent 3km long beach. Concrete jungle with 80,000 empty appartments. The old Cullera had more life and active.

Cullera is quite spread out, plenty of cafes, restaurants...

Cullera is quite spread out, plenty of cafes, restaurants and supermarkets, they have tobacco shops which is the only place to buy them and they are cheap. There is a market mid week and on Saturday, not too much there but great atmosphere and worth a trip. The bus and train service is excellent and great prices.

Cullera is a great place to visit if you want to be immersed...

Cullera is a great place to visit if you want to be immersed in the Spanish way of life. It is particularly good for anyone learning to speak the language as English is not widely spoken. It has a huge beach which is very safe. The promenade is long and lined with a variety of bars and restaurants. There are many cafes and restaurants in the streets behind the beach area well worth a visit. There is a wonderful tourist train which runs from the beach to the castle for 7 euros. Fantastic views from the castle which is also within walking and driving distance. The people are friendly and very supportive of attempts to speak Spanish. Will definitely return!!

We were very impressed of the cleanest of the entire town.

We were very impressed of the cleanest of the entire town. And we thought it was a very safe place. We saw police car all the time around. instead on the last night in the town our rent car was damaged. Someone flat our tire and a near car the same plus gasoline tank was emptied. Another night drunk people were walking on the middle of the streets:( This will leave a bit of sour thoughts about the area.

The hotel presents itself well. The staff are extremely professional with a friendly nature. The buffett style meals provided a wide choice with regular top ups by staff and the hotel bar was priced very reasonably. All common areas and bedrooms were clean.
