Nice to wander around. Cathedral blocked off internally for works. Roman walls are pretty impressive.
Turismo was very helpful. Museum has poor labelling (in Spanish too on the whole). Had a lovely tour of a convent cloister, opposite Turismo, but be warned, no photos and the nuns speak no English, although the nun who showed us around managed to find some notes in English!
Coria is a great town. Great base for getting up into the mountains and then be able to socialise at night. The location is brilliant - is Plaza De Cathedral in the heart of the history. Bed was large and comfortable. Room quiet & the staff perfectly pleasant.
The hotel is inside the walls of Coria, near the church and with a great view next to it. The bed was comfortable and the shower hot and powerful. There is free parking nearby and coffee places and restaurants nearby.
