Lovely resort, great restaurant and beaches. If you want to get about and go further afield you do need a car. We visited Medina Sidonia, Vejer and Cadiz, and Barbate. None of these trips possible without a car.

Conil is a very beautiful place to be.
Conil is a very beautiful place to be. We've been there for 4 years always in a hotel. This year we wanted an apartment, because we had one in november in another city and liked it very much. But this apartment was horrible.
Luckely there are so many nice things to see. The beach is great and going to Feduchy Playa (restaurant) was awesome. Downtown there are plenty resaurants that have very good food. Once you've been to Conil you easely know your way around. The market on fridays is also a 'must do'. We missed out on the tuna-fest this year (it should be in the beginning of may) We will go back to Conil next year.

The Center of the city was not accessible with very narrow alleys, one way streets. Also the current road construction made access almost impossible. The original Hotel we booked was totally not accessible by car and we needed to walk a while which was impossible with the luggage; so we ended up cancelling the reservation and drove to Roce 21 miles away.

Very good.
Very good. Stay away from summer months it will be very crowded. Be sure to visit La Peña Flamenco, just outside the city center. You must take a taxi but the show is well worth it , the food is excellent and the prices are fabulous.

Lovely little town with a great range of restaurants and bars. Quite steep streets down towards the sea front so if you walk down be aware that you will have to walk back up again.
The streets in the town are lovely narrow cobbled thoroughfares with many interesting artisanal shops mixed in with the usual tourist type stuff.
whilst tourism is obviously a major industry within the town the town retains it's essential "spanishness" and does not feel spoilt.
Well worth spending some time here.
