The hotel was really lovely. Only stayed for one night and the price was amazing. The room was clean and nicely decorated and the hotel had a lovely atmosphere about it. Reception staff were kind and polite and made everything super easy to understand. Will definitely visit and stay again, probably for a couple of days longer as the local village and surrounding area looks ripe for exploration... Oh and yeah, rioja wine... Big tick.

Clean, well renovated property in a great location with dedicated parking available very close by. The apartment we booked had a lovely courtyard garden that was fully furnished for dining outdoors and equipped with a drying frame for laundry. Soraya was a very good host and arranged a great visit to a local bodega for us

The apartment was spacious, we appreciated the milk, cereals, teas etc that Christina left for us. Great to have a washing machine and drying rack.

So many top class Bodega's within walking distance of hotel. This really is the heart of the Rioja wine region, and Cenicero a lovely Spanish village. Longroño was about 10miles away...a spralling town....but if you want peace, tranquility and authenticity it's Cenicero every time!

Small community. Easy to feel like a local.
Small community. Easy to feel like a local. Best to have some Spanish to communicate with the locals. The little cafe on the town square ( plaza), run by a really friendly lady who helped us get to know the community. The tourist information office is super helpful also. The view over The Valley is beautiful. Day trip further into the Rioja are easy from here.
