The room was very clean and spacious. The location on the main square in the old part of Haro can't be beat. The staff was very helpful, friendly and spoke excellent English. My room was ready when I asked for it, slightly before check-in time and they held my bag until then while I explored the town. Delivered it to my room so I didn't have to think about it.

Absolutely charming Bed and Breakfast with friendly and accommodating couple who saw to our every need. The room was spacious with gorgeous antique furniture but with all the modern amenities. Breakfast was excellent. We had a memorable time.
An old building with lots of period charm. Room was spacious and comfortable. My room looked out onto the monastery. The ensuite jacuzzi was an unusual but pleasant surprise. Breakfast was plentiful and freshly prepared by the attentive host. The location was superb; less than 10 min drive from Haro, Casalarreina is a small town with an attractive central square and historic monastery. The municipal, outdoor swimming pool is a 3 minute walk away, and well worth a visit if you need to cool down.
I booked the hotel online and arrived to find the hotel all locked up with no staff. after making sevral calls to the numbers on a note of the reception window I finally got an answer in Spanish but the they didn't speak English.
after 15mins a woman arrived and unlocked the hotel and showed me to my room, gave me a key and said breakfast was at 8.00 and then left the hotel unattended all night.
the room was fantastic but no facilities were available.
Absolutely stunning interiors, beautifully renovated room in old style with an enormous bed, bathroom with jacuzzi. The way all the old parts were preserved but still made into a super comfortable hotel room was admirable. The little town is also charming with nice green areas and a nice Plaza and very close to Haro.
Ancient property in a courtyard, stunning location next to the monastery, which is worth touring too.
The hotel rooms were excellent t with enormous and ornate bathrooms.
