Pre-registered online and the only thing asked from me was a credit card. Reception staff was professional, welcoming and cordial. The room was comfortable, quiet and spacious. Likewise with the bathroom. Property was clean, modern and had a really nice curb appeal. Parking was available at the premises. There were two parking lots - one outside and one under the hotel. Parked under the hotel and thank goodness because the weather turned really hot! City center was a downhill walk from the hotel which made it an easy walk. However, it meant that going back you had an uphill hike. On a hot day, that could be a bit tiring, even arduous. Hotel had an on-site restaurant that was open 24/7. Breakfast was pretty decent but standard. Restaurant and hotel staff were professional, responsive and very helpful. Restaurant food was also pretty decent and inexpensive. Almost everyone spoke English.
Hotel Via Gotica is 820 feet from Burgos Cathedral, just across the River Arlanzón. Most rooms have a private balcony with Cathedral views and free Wi-Fi.

Its location right at the bridge to the Cathedral, is excellent. The Cafe is really handy. The room was clean.
