Alboran hotel, hotel in Carboneras

Alboran hotel is set on the beachfront in Carboneras, 100 metres from Carboneras Beach and 1.2 km from Las Martinicas Beach.

Small new hotel at the W end of the seaside promenade in an attractive little town. I booked a single room, but was given a double, which was very good value. Very nice, clean, comfortable, good wifi. There is a restaurant/bar here, but it was closed when I was there; there are though plenty of others nearby.

Fab bars and restaurants, reasonably priced, friendly staff everywhere we went. Great walks, close enough to walk to Agua Amarga through the countryside - about 7km. Good location to visit the rest of Cabo de Gata. Good shops.

Carboneres is an authentic Spanish place with good and inexpensive bars with plenty of choice. We walked along the promenade and there was a beautiful sunset and it was very relaxing watching the shimmering sea

The hotel and accommodation was excellent.

The hotel and accommodation was excellent. Couldnt ask for more, the room was large, roomy and no expense was spared. The balcony was good and overlooked the sea. The staff were very good, nothing was too much trouble for them. It is easy to get to the beach, just down a short road opposite the hotel. You can walk along the promenade and there are quite a few restaurants and chiringuitos. Come back inland two streets and you will find shops and quite a lot of bars and restaurants. We will be returning next year.

Comparing to many other beaches in Alemeria, Carboneras was a very relaxing place to stay. Not over exploited, not too many tourists, nice sandy beaches to visit, lots of places to eat great food and really not expensive.

Very interesting little town. Some lovely shops and a super market on a Thursday. The fort is well worth a visit no charge at all for going in so very interesting and some fabulous old photographs. Everyone was so welcoming the tapas at all the bars are so tasty we didn't find a bar we didn't like

The property itself was lovey and in a quiet setting. The Breakfast was wonderful as it was very varied and the infinity pool was fabulous. The 2 hosts - Patrick and Anna were very welcoming and great to have a chat to. They supplied a nice list of restaurants to go to in Carboneras area and around.

Lovely ultra modern hotel set back just from the beach and a 5 minute walk into town. Staff are very welcoming and helpful and my wife and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel and without doubt would stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Fabulous apartment on the outskirts of Carboneras. It had absolutely everything you needed. The large balcony was the best part with sun loungers and a dining table. It was so close to the sea that you could hear the waves.
