Staðsetning Can Pastilla er án efa einn af bestu kostum þessa bæjar, ef litið er til þess að hann er staðsettur í 5 mínútna akstursfjarlægð frá Palma de Mallorca-flugvellinum og í 10 mínútna akstursfjarlægð frá gamla bæ Palma. Þótt að sólarunnendur fjölmenni gullnu strendurnar og hótelin, þá var Can Pastilla aðeins lítið sjávarþorp fyrir um 60 árum síðan, ekki mikið meira en smáþyrping sem myndaðist í kringum litlu kirkjuna San Antonio de la Playa.
