Petit Paradis - A little bit of heaven, hotel in Callao Salvaje

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, sea view and a terrace, Petit Paradis - A little bit of heaven is located in Callao Salvaje.

This is a beautiful villa with so much more. A small welcome back and lots of extras in the kitchen. We normally take basic supplies such as condiments but there was everything you would need for a self catering holiday. The living room is spacious and tastefully decorated. A large dining table and chairs with plenty of comfortable seating for relaxing. There is a toilet on the ground floor and a small utility room with a washing machine. The three bedrooms and two bathrooms on the first floor were spotlessly clean and bright and the master bedroom had a very comfortable king size bed with en-suite bathroom. All rooms have air conditioning. The views are lovely. The outside area is a wonderful peaceful space. There’s lots of seating, including a lounge area, a dining table and chairs, perfect for the morning coffee and sun loungers. There is a grassy area surrounded by plants and trees which gives some privacy. We were invited to enjoy the papaya fruit too, delicious. We had the pleasure of watching the local wildlife including grey wagtails and an Eurasian hoopoe whom seemed oblivious to us watching it. The heated pool was a delight and in the evening the coloured lights looked delightful. The small town is a 10 minute (downhill) walk away with bars, restaurants and a medium sized Hiperdino. Larger supermarkets are a 8 minute drive away so a car is recommended but not a necessity. Fabienne was very friendly and obliging with our access and exit from the villa, thank you. Bernard tended to the pool, jacuzzi and garden area without fuss, thank you too. We all agreed that we would definitely like to return to Petit Paradis, it is certainly a little bit of heaven :-))

A small town, with a few shops and pubs - an ideal base for exploring the island. The town is also suitable for people who value peace and quiet, because there were definitely fewer people there than in other towns on the island.

This is the second time we have stayed at the apartment and still loved it. It has all the necessary ingredients for a great time , a balcony a pool and a view of the sea. We have just looked to book for 2025 for the same 10 days and have found the company have DOUBLED the price - that's outrageous. So we won't be going back - shame.

Having stayed several times in Costa Adeje, the in del Duque...

Having stayed several times in Costa Adeje, the in del Duque area, Callao Salvaje was certainly much quieter. Our villa was about a 10 minute walk down to the beach front area where there were plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. In the evening it was a certainly busier. First time stay in a villa, 6 adults and 4 children so not a lively holiday like others. We hire a car for the first time and it made getting around a lot lot easier. We did a couple of big food shops at a Lidl or Aldi which was about a 10 minute car journey. We found a very small playpark for the kids right down at the beach front, just a few things but plenty of space for the kids to run around. There were a couple of supermarkets in Callao Salvaje, as always a bit more expensive but that wouldn't have put us off. We went to Tapas Boutique for dinner and it was stunning, an amazing find. Very small and cosy restaurant but the staff were so attentive and the food was fantastic! Staff couldn't have done more! We took the bus to Las Americas one day which took around 45 minutes. All in all, I would highly recommend this area if you are happy not in the hustle and bustle.

Area Callo Salvaje is very nice, also is full of tourist.

Area Callo Salvaje is very nice, also is full of tourist. But sea v is excellent, a lot of nice places to eat, difficult to find parking, not clean around some hotels, like Pearl Grey , but not too bad for holiday. Don’t think that I will stay again in this area

A few nice restaurants and a French boulangerie, good local bus service. Small resort with no local town nearby so lacks ambience, although staff in shops and restaurants were very friendly and welcoming. The beach has black gritty sand (unlike photo which is misleading) strong waves and a sharp slope near shoreline that puts you out of your depth so unsafe for younger kids and weak/non-swimmers.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Very clean. We had been before the refurb and they have done a nice job. Housekeeping comes every day. The life guard (more like pool manager) is always doing something around the area, cleaning, sanitizing etc. He ensures that the rules in the pool and jacuzzi are followed. We didnt eat at the hotel as we were self catering but the drinks from the bar were not over priced.

Convenient for local shopping and Restaurants- good selection within short walking distance. Yet the property offers privacy and a quiet location, with relatively spacious family accommodation and home comforts. There is good space for sunbathing but also areas of the garden offering shade.

Location is very good for access to Callao Salvaje, shops, buses, bars, cafes and restaurants - also very close to pool and only a short walk to the beach. The apartment has been upgraded internally and is well furnished.
