The appartment has a great location in the first row at the coastline, with superb view to the west (for enjoying the sunsets). It is situated in a quiet neighbourhood. There is a public pool around the corner. The appartment has a terrace where you can have your breakfast or dinner while enjoying the view. Appartment itself is spatious, with a big living room and fully equiped kitchen (including an oven, a microwave and a washing machine if you plan to stay longer). In the vicinity (15 min walk) is a supermarket and a small buisness centre with several good restaurans or bars. If you have a rental car there is street parking available in front of the building, and all the popular beaches are some 15 minutes drive away. Marianne, the owner is very helpful, she explained us everything. As we arrived in the middle of the night she was waiting for us, although normally the check in is until 20.00 hours.

Quiet location, good swimming beach although quite a lot of rocks along with the black sand so swimming shoes advisable. Waves can get quite big. Lifeguard on duty. Plenty of restaurants close by along with supermarket, so easy for self catering.

Calleo Salvaje is ok if you like to stay in just one place, all the time. There are enough restaurants for a week, or so, but beyond that it's a limited option. Mainly occupied by timeshare properties. Poor bus service, only takes you in one direction. Car hire essential if you want more than just a beach and expensive prices. 2 good supermarkets, if you're self-catering. Hilly, if you lack mobility. Quiet, if you like nightlife.

A small town, with a few shops and pubs - an ideal base for exploring the island. The town is also suitable for people who value peace and quiet, because there were definitely fewer people there than in other towns on the island.

This is the second time we have stayed at the apartment and still loved it. It has all the necessary ingredients for a great time , a balcony a pool and a view of the sea.
We have just looked to book for 2025 for the same 10 days and have found the company have DOUBLED the price - that's outrageous.
So we won't be going back - shame.

Having stayed several times in Costa Adeje, the in del Duque...
Having stayed several times in Costa Adeje, the in del Duque area, Callao Salvaje was certainly much quieter.
Our villa was about a 10 minute walk down to the beach front area where there were plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. In the evening it was a certainly busier. First time stay in a villa, 6 adults and 4 children so not a lively holiday like others.
We hire a car for the first time and it made getting around a lot lot easier. We did a couple of big food shops at a Lidl or Aldi which was about a 10 minute car journey.
We found a very small playpark for the kids right down at the beach front, just a few things but plenty of space for the kids to run around. There were a couple of supermarkets in Callao Salvaje, as always a bit more expensive but that wouldn't have put us off.
We went to Tapas Boutique for dinner and it was stunning, an amazing find. Very small and cosy restaurant but the staff were so attentive and the food was fantastic! Staff couldn't have done more!
We took the bus to Las Americas one day which took around 45 minutes.
All in all, I would highly recommend this area if you are happy not in the hustle and bustle.

1. Beautiful hotel, one of the best family hotels we've been at.
2. Great facilities - pools, restaurants, indoor and outdoor free parking garage, gym, etc.
3. Great buffet breakfast & dinner (we took half-board package).
4. Spacious room for 2 adults and 2 kids (we ordered the family room with sea view).
This place is really great for family with kids, although the issues I mentioned below we really liked this hotel.
