The building itself is beautiful, the location is great and we had a corner room with a very nice sea view. Fresh water supply also great.

No lift to take visitors and luggage up three flights of stairs. The view from the balcony was wonderful each morning, with the sun coming up over the ocean.
We drove to Lla Francha for most main meals

This must be one of the most unspoilt villages on the Costa Brava, There is good walking/hiking along the coast and also inland towards Palafrugell. The weather was mild for mid-October, and we spent most of our time outdoors. Calella village has lots of good restaurants and cafes, and some shopping, but Palafrugell nearby has lots of shops and a great Sunday market. The highlight for us was the Botanic Garden, and its interesting history (Russian and British aristocrats built its castle and gardens as their dream home, starting in the early 20th century). It's all very hilly so be prepared to climb lots of stairs and steep roads!

Calella is our favorite village on costa brava and we have been visiting for years parking is getting more difficult with more visitors but to be expected although parking charges are gone after 16th sept the beaches are lovely but could be cleaned a bit quicker after a storm the village feels very safe even well after dark but the beach needs to be patrolled as dog owners persist in allowing their pets to go on the beach totally ignoring signs not to fine dog owners and reduce parking fees when they apply

A really charming if small resort with good restaurants but limited other shops and facilities. Swimming (but steep drop off not great for young children etc)and walks on the coastal path both very enjoyable. Seemed just a little cooler temperature wise than other nearby resorts.

Calella de Palafrugell is a stunning, peaceful safe place to holiday at any time of year. Off season there isn't much in the way of entertainment which may not suit those seeking a lively nightlife.

Rick and Javier were the perfect hosts! They really looked after us and gave us great advice about the area. They were always on hand in person or on WhatsApp when we had questions. The rooms were lovely and were cleaned every day. The breakfast was delicious with fresh local bread each morning. I left my shirt in the room when we checked out and they offered to post it for me, which I am very grateful for. I would highly recommend Hotel Casa Calella and would definitely return. :)
I was there for a wedding which took place on the beach overlooked by the hotel so it was a perfect location. The staff were amazing and really accommodating especially as I had an early flight home before the restaurant opened for breakfast.
I would definitely stay there again
The apartment itself was good and nice with a nice view and balcon, these are aparmtents from private owners so it is a very quiet neighborhood with no supermarket near so youre not located near the center of Callella de Palafrugell it is about 25/30 minutes walk.
The hotel staff are very friendly and professional
Breakfast was excellent plenty of choice, freshly cooked eggs and bacon.
The hotel was always clean.
Nice pool area.
Very close to the main town and beach
Would recommend.
