The duplex was spacious and well equipped, and the master bedroom gives way to a big terrace to enjoy the weather over dinner. The temperature of the whole place was also very pleasant. We were also welcome with some magdalenas (small muffins), milk and coffee capsules. Really nice.
It also had an extra locker room where we put our bikes.

Very good people. I don't speak Spanish and they help very much with communication. Food was very good and very cold beer 🍻

Nice size, modern apartment. Well located. Everything works. Well equipped kitchen. Communal patio and garage for bicycle storage. Laundry facilities. We were very comfortable.
Offering a charming garden and a covered terrace with traditional brickwork arches, La Casa del Azafrán is located in Villanueva del Rebollar de la Sierra, in the foothills of the Cucalón Mountains.
For the price, everything was outstanding. The people, the owner/manager staff were so friendly. The bar was just buzzing with Spanish liveliness and there was secure parking under the hotel. If I could give 12/10 for cleanliness I would. It helps if you speak a little spanish, but you would probably get by without.
A real treat. Exquisite hotel. Spoke to the owner. He told us it was his family home.
Also that during the Civil War in Spain Generalismo Franco stayed in the hotel for 2 nights.
The owner was a gentleman.
