Cala Rayada is a place in the north of Majorca, in which there are many cafes, restaurants, night clubs, as in the rest of Majorca. If you decide to go to the beaches on the north side of Majorca, it's a great place to stay, it's a little quieter and more peaceful than Cala Millor or Alcudia. Recommendation for everyone who wants a more peaceful vacation and excellent beaches 20-30 minutes drive away..

I have stayed at this hotel before and it didn not dissappoint. The staff are really friendly and accommodating. The facilities are great and I had lunch overlooking the pool and sea on both days. The service was fast and a good variety available.
They actually have enough chairs by the pool, good amount of umbrellas, and a nice little private spot you can get into the sea easily.
The breakfast has so many options, this is by far the place with the most options I have ever stayed at. Its hidden away with a 15 minute walk to the shops and busy town area and really spoilt for restaurant and ice cream choices. I will definitely be back again next year!

Cala Ratjada was a lovely little harbour town that can be explored by foot in a day. There is plenty of trips and excursions to do from the harbour and the bus was easy to use to get to other towns.
Plenty of restaurants along the harbour front and bars. Area feels safe to walk around at night.

You can access fewer interest points from here (at least by bus) than from the west coast. Still well connected by buses to get to important points such as Cuevas del Drach (dragon caves) -not to be missed in the south (Porto Cristo) or Rafael Nadal museum in Manacor, or Alcudia in the north. Plenty of restaurants, souvenir shops, markets nearby and some minor beaches. Less crowded than the big resorts on the west coast. I heard more talking in german here than on the west coast (though speaking English you won't have a problem here). Quieter area than the big resorts, but still a decent nightlife in October here. Very safe, I liked it here.

We had a lovely stay, with fantastic stays of our room. Everything is clean, the food is amazing with lots of choice. Almost every drink you could want is included with AI. It's a short walk to the town and the main beach. The spa is good and decent treatments for a good price. I would say that is a predominantly German hotel, like 95% minimum. All the menus are in Spanish and German and staff speak German too. The plus side is great German beer, but that is the language you'll hear 99% of the time.
The Capricho hotel has a lovely atmosphere. We felt really comfortable like at home! The room was lovely and spacious.
Swimming pool is big and open late!
The buffet breakfast had great choices of food, and also you could have crepes, pancakes and omlette made fresh.
It's a 3 star hotel but it felt like a 4 star! Very clean also.
The location is perfect, walking distance to all the beaches. I just can't recommend this hotel enough, we will definitely be back!!!
We loved staying at the hotel! Good quality food for both breakfast and dinner, various dishes each night, very polite waiting staff members, the location is good too, quiet, also it's close to the beach. Entertainment was also really nice for both children and adults. We had the room with hydromassage bathtub, worth it for sure! We really suggest to stay in this hotel especially if you are with kids.
The hotel was in a great location close to the beach, seafront and harbour. Our room was clean and comfortable with good amenities. The rooftop was a perfect to enjoy a sea breeze and cool off in the pool with plenty of seating. Breakfast was delicious and it was lovely to sit out in the square and enjoy it. We would stay here again.
great hotel, just a bit hot in the room when you arrive. you always find a spot to park for free in the street around the hotel. 15 minutes walking from the best beaches of the island and great rooftop with sunchairs and a bar (and the swimming-pool). breakfast is more than satisfaying.
