It is not a touristy place but that is what makes it special.
Stay a while and relax as you listen to the birds sing and the church bells ring.
I highly recommend an e-bike tour to the nearby towns. Check out Diània tours. Josep is a local guide who speaks excellent English.

The town is typically Spanish perched on a hill with narrow streets. There is an obvious lack of cafes/restaurants and bars, especially on Sunday, which resulted in a need to travel to the next main town

Excellent location, super friendly and helpfull staff, and the breakfast is the best we have ever had in any hotel. Would stay there again just for the breakfast.
But the room was little run down, the hotel is quite old and would need some refreshing (a new coat of paint for example).
The friendly staff and the relaxing atmosphere. The location was perfect for accessing some great cycling routes into the hills. The hotel was bicycle friendly Brooklyn!
