Edouardo, our host, was very friendly and helpful. A very warm welcome. The location is incredible, a real step back in time. Utterly charming. For peace and quiet, it was a nice countenance to the busy towns I'd passed through.. Very enjoyable.

It was kind of them to find us a ground floor room, with wet room shower, since my partner has reduced mobility and so can't climb stairs or over the side of a bath tub. They also let us back the car down the road to pick him up at the door, load and unload the car. There is a small carpark round the back of the property; useful to us as we were on a road trip. The room was very clean with good water pressure in the shower. Nice breakfast. Dinner was very basic, local rustic food as is typical of off-the-beaten path, Spain; they struggled a little to serve my partner who is vegetarian but they tried to cater for him as best they could. Friendly old folk running the place. The place is clearly most designed for walkers on the Camino de Santiago, so you see lots of those each night! Perfectly located to try out walking sections of the Camino and the Canal de Castille is nearby and beautiful.
