Benicarlo is a very good destination for the tourists.
Benicarlo is a very good destination for the tourists. There are lot of restaurants and bars as well as shops where somebody can find really cheap clothes. There is also festival at the and of the August with various activities including processional parade, spanish music, chasing with bulls in an mini arena by the sea and so on.

We stayed for only one night en route to the South of Spain so can't really judge. The hotel was very clean, well appointed and had a comfortable feel. Breakfast was very good. As it was late December the town was quiet with few restaurants open.

We walked towards the Long Beach looking for a place to swim, but the rocky beach was littered with trash..some buildings look abandoned. We had a wonderful dinner at the local Alibaba restaurant. On the port. Delicious, simple, fresh food and good service for $18.00. So much food we could not finish…

We visited Benicarlo specifically for the Artichoke Festival which was a lot of fun -- and a terrific bargain with great food. Not sure what else one might want to do in the town. Summer maybe for the beach and marina. Nice little museum, pleasant walking in the old city.

Looking at the reviews most people have this town well summed up café close by good restaurants Benicarlo is a lovely little place nice walks and the people are friendly and there's plenty of things to do..
When I found this hotel, at first I thought it was some kind of mistake. Because the price was 3 times less than other hotels. I became interested in what kind of hotel there was, and I booked it.
And now I have to say that everything was just great!! At that price, it's just an incredibly cool offer. 😃 A hotel with breakfast on the coast for 61 euros is beyond fantasy. But in this case it is real! And the hotel, by the way, is very nice 👍 100% recommendations
A very nice good quality hotel right on the sea front. Our room was very quiet with a wonderful sea view. Large balcony and the beds were very comfy. The pool and gardens were clean. All in all a great hotel with free parking.
My family and I (4 pax) stayed only 1 night, while travelling by car from Italy to Spain, so we did not need much. The apt was VERY clean (hotel-like) and had everything necessary for a 1-night stay.
Very friendly, easily reachable and helpful hosts. Nice flat. Clean. Great location. Splendid view. GREAT BEDS. (The best sofabed we ever had). Benicarló is laidback, relaxed. Good value for money!
