Location +++ for Baiona. Right opposite water, next to restaurants, near a supermarket, gelato, burger place, bars, everything. Easy walk around fort. Beautiful view. Very very convenient for Camino. Great size room and bathroom, good ceilings, even had a little balcony with beautiful sea breezes. Felt spacious. Owners are very friendly and want your stay to be exceptional!

This was the third time I stayed in this place, which I used as a base to visit Galicia and enjoy the best seafood that the region is known for.
The Parador of Baiona is an historical building located over the Rias with amazing sea views and a nice circuit to walk around the fortress walls and also on the shoreline.
This time the building was wrapped with scaffolds for maintenance works and we were not informed in advance, for our great disappointment..
Great breakfast well served in the morning, the breakfast staff are kind and efficient.

I loved this place! The guy at reception was super nice and gave me recommendations on what to explore. Make sure you leave time in your camino to see this city!
There is a very big outside area to chill, decent kitchen space and comfy beds with privacy.

The apartment was perfect for us and extremely clean. Our host was very friendly and informative . Located out of the town but a nice walk in. All very secure with a nice garden, perfect for our dogs. Restaurants and bars only a short walk away.
We ate at Taberna Mendoza, would skip next time. Nothing impressive about it and the staff were too busy and not particularly friendly. Downtown is lively late in the evening, we went back to the property to enjoy the view but would also have been nice to hang out downtown.

It’s a beautiful location with access to the beach areas for free as well as tourist attractions such Mirxe de Rocha (our lady on the rocks) and others for a very cheap tickets of only €2-3 each. The food is delicious with lots of varieties and the Polpo being a famous one (it’s octopus stuffed with potatoes and herbs). Calm , peaceful, friendly people and beautiful! A very good walking route alongside the beach line. Definitely recommend!

Baiona is one of the most beautiful areas I have ever experienced. Northern Spain as a whole is a delight but Baiona is absolutely lovely and is a good base for accessing other parts of the north of the country. It is also located on the Camino so is a great base for walkers. The walking in this particular area is flat so is accessible to all. Plenty of excellent eateries serving a wide range of dishes but specialising in fish/shellfish dishes and tapas. Foodies will not be disappointed! Baiona is easy walking, a delight for the eyes and the senses. The walk around the coastal path that takes you around the base of the Parador is superb with superb views of the Cies islands. What a stunning area. Do visit if you can, you will not be disappointed! We were touring and spent four nights there... it was not long enough. We very rarely visit the same place twice... I would go back there tomorrow!!

Nice town.
Nice town. The Spanish stick to the legend that America was "discovered" other than invaded and robbed, but that's just the Spanish "interpretation" of Columbus's journey. Visit the castle. Eat the local sea food.

Through my own incompetence I found myself with an extra day in Baiona so decided to splash out on the Parador. Very large clean room with, which was very welcome for a Camino walker, a lovely hot bath. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice - cooked, cereal, fruit etc etc. Nice common/dining/bar areas. Staff uniformly helpful. Great view from the bar terrace.
Its location, fit for purpose amenities and friendliness of the reception staff. Even though the person had very little English, he was adept in using technology to translate our conversations so we understood each other perfectly. The hotel reception is on the first floor so a bit of a climb after a hard days walking on the Camino but check in was quick.
Nice, sunny outdoor area with comfortable couches encouraged socialising with others and easy to dry washing. Nice and clean, great location close to old area of Baiona, lovely beach and castle. Also near supermarket. Staff member was lovely and welcoming 🙏 😊...
