Stayed on the way south to Algeceras. Staff were welcoming and the rooms were comfortable if a little small. Limited menu offered in the restaurant/bar. Good parking at the rear of the property.

Fabulous location, we were given a larger cabin than we had booked and the cabin was impeccable. Very modern facilities but with a traditional decor. The restaurant was closed but the kind gentleman at reception opened the little shop for us so we were able to buy some snacks. The views and countryside are amazing.
This hotel has a spa with an indoor pool, and a range of treatments. It is located in the Extremaduran town of Hervás and offers great views of the Ambroz Valley.
This accommodation is situated in a majestic building, an old convent dating from the 17th century, in Valle del Ambroz in the north of the province of Cáceres.

In the middle of the village, this hostel had a very familiar feel. The dorm I was in was ample with 6 people in a 10 person room. The kitchen had a comfy sofa as well as table and chairs for meals. The staff were excellent and always available.

The hotel is located on the main road, but there is no traffic, so there was no noise at all because it is a very quiet village. The owner only speaks Spanish, but he is very friendly and willing to help. Breakfast is not included, and only available from 8.30 onwards, but we were leaving early so that was not a problem. There is no kettle in the room, but there is a microwave. There are 2 glasses.nothing else. There is a bakery in the village nearby, but they only open from 9.30 am until 13.30. There is nothing else. So, no restaurant or cafe's nearby (as far as we know and we walked around the village). We knew this and brought something to warm up in the microwave and we also had coffee and cups with us, We had a bottle of wine under the vine roof terrace which we brought as well. We went for a beautiful walk just up the road into the hills, there are several walking trails. We had a really good rest, everyone seemed to want to have an early night. The bathroom is simple, but very clean, with a good shower and clean sink and toilet. The heating comes on at 6pm at night, as it went chilly in the room. there is also an extra heating element in case you need it. Excellent value for so little money!
Boasting mountain views, El Jardin del Conde is set in Puerto de Béjar, around 48 km from Plaza Mayor. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property.

We have stayed here in the past . The house is very well equipped , very comfortable . The outdoor area is really nice to have some wine at night . No problem for parking , very secured house with an electric gate and you have access to different villages . I recommend to see the Granadilla’s castle .

Ours was only an over night stop en route to Cadiz . It was fine for the night- and we were travelling with 3 dogs in very inclement weather. The outside paved area was fenced, ideal to let the dogs out without fear they may run off ‘exploring’. We are confident we left the accommodation in excellant order as should anyone, with pets or not.

Good room for the dog, access to the room not very suitable...
Good room for the dog, access to the room not very suitable for older people. Steps with no handrail. Ate in the room brought by room service. Not great, forgot that Spanish chips are just crisps.
Good balcony for dog and outside smoking. Very rural and old fashioned quaint, you had to go outside to get to reception and restaurant. Check in was two young girls trying to work out what they needed to do & not sure about the Booking.com reservation. I guess Covid newbys
learning on the job but very welcoming.

I stayed overnight at the Hotel Rural El Molino while touring Spain on my motorbike. The staff were welcoming, friendly and accommodating of my poor Spanish. My room was small, clean and comfortable, and breakfast in the morning was good and ample.
Baños de Montemayor is a spa town known for its Roman-built baths and can serve as a little oasis for (motorbike) travellers on the Ruta de la Plata (N-630).
Very easy to locate hotel and easy access to motorway. Short walk into town for bars and restaurants. Rooms basic but very clean with good shower and aircon. Everything we expected.
Lovely basic hotel at great value travelling in April. Parking at the rear of the hotel, good for motorbikes.
Bar and restaurant.
Very clean.
