Peaceful and charming place, wonderful and helpful hostess who makes you feel at home, well appointed little hut, unbelievably good sleep, close to the rim of the huge volcano crater, too many things I liked it.
Featuring a garden, Casa Merce offers accommodations in Arecida. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking.

Everything! West of the island has so much to offer and Casa Merce is a perfect base to explore north and south. The rooftop terrace is great to observe stars. The house has everything you may need and a big and flat parking is a nice bonus. Vanesa is super helpful and welcomed us with plenty of delicious gifts. Totally recommend!

Beautiful farm house in the mountains with an amazing view...
Beautiful farm house in the mountains with an amazing view of the sea and the stars. You can watch the sun go into the sea from the swings, the hammock, the tree house or the outdoor bed. You can walk up a trail 3 minutes and see the sun rise over the caldera.
The host is the most sweet and amazing woman who was made the whole place happen mostly by herself. She will always be there for anything you need, and give you delicious fruits from her farm, but she will also give you space and completely respect your privacy, you will feel like you have the farm for yourself almost.
In summer, the nights were cool so sleeping was easy.
You have to go up a steep winding road to get to the property (this is quite normal in La Palma, unless you are staying at a town or beach resort...) but then it's pretty close to Los Llanos, to the entrance of La Caldera and a good point to explore the north of the island from. We would often have beach and dinner in tazacorte before watching the sunset from the house with a wine.
