The appartement is very new and the rooms are clean and pleasant. It is located in a quiet side street.
Everything available for our stay
Nothing much has changed since 1863 date of the hotel opening and really that's what makes it such a wonderful place to stay. I overnighted on a long trip with my dog and both of us loved it. Comfortable bedding. Only thing: keep away from the restaurant in the evening. Staff is friendly and helpful but the food is awful and expensive... very expensive for what you get. Breakfast was very nice. All in all a great experience and amazingly cheap for what you get
The staff despite having a bit of an attitude treated us with respect and gave us an upgrade to the room. With that said the room it self had its own problems, such as smells and a badly working AC. It is an old style hotel that is probably more targeted to the older generation. The breakfast isn't bad but could use some healthier options.
cute town, had bars and restaurants;
hotel has a nice indoor and outdoor pools.
breakfast and dinner were both buffets and food tasted ok, no wine or water included with food . car parking on premises
it is an eccentric and unusual spa hotel almost redolent of an earlier age. it’s location off the beaten track adds yet more mystique as do the gardens, the thermal lake and the lake cafe/bar
