What a great Place, owner have a few Casa Rurales to rent in Villar del Ciervo.
A little hard to find but the owners who are by the way super sweet helped us get to the Casa we rented.
Beautifully decorated home in a small village, we had a big Backyard with BBQ, tables with lovely trees and flowers.
There were 4 rooms in the Casa 2 on the lower floor and 2 upstairs, Very big rooms with large washroom, squeaky clean and decorated with a flair of the area.
Could give 10 thumbs up if i had the.....don't change anything, our stay was perfect!!

The room is spacious and has a comfortable sofa and 2 nice sitting chairs. The beds were well made with nice linens. Marisa in the restaurant was pleasant and remembered me from my last stay. It is always nice to be acknowledged as a repeat guest. In the morning I only have coffee, and Tamara, the breakfast server, was very nice to chat with for a few minutes about the area and she made a great espresso.

I had a wonderful time at Parador de Ciudad Rodrigo! The beautiful architecture made it feel like a fairytale. The location is perfect for a stopover and offers good value.

I was expecting it to be lovely and wow it was. This place is just stunning. We had a room which was a junior suite ( for not much money) which was part of the old fort. It was amazing. We had beers in the grassed courtyard and a meal in the superb restaurant. Breakfast was also amazing. Rocked up on our motorcycles and parking was easy and inside the hotel grounds.
The location is spectacular. The 18th century Fort sits on a ridge with commanding views over Spain and Portugal. The ruins have been beautifully transformed into a stunning hotel. The buffet breakfast included in the price was superb and dinner was also excellent if a little pricey. The staff were fantastic and we would definitely go again.
